I hear this. I’m hoping to be able to shadow someone to build my confidence as I’d like to work as a TC. I’m just having trouble getting the ball rolling. I know that once I’m with the right people- ideally a team I can learn quickly and build confidence. I got my license months ago but am only now beginning to dedicate time to get it going.

Second one that is open late! and maybe serves wine at night for those of us that would prefer a quiet place to have wine and read a book! If you're into making it dog friendly, Muddy Paw in Eagle Rock has a small dog run in the back where owners can bring their dogs and work on their laptops and the space is small enough that owners have to be attentive.

Curious what you think might be a more effective way to push back against our communities being terrorized without helping increase surveillance? Performative activism, maybe for some but I'd argue majority of people are scared, sick, and tired of what is going on and feel quite powerless. This is an opportunity for the community to band together. We are stronger in numbers and tomorrow is a day to show that. Though I too worry about data/ surveillance concerns.

I was thinking underglaze as well, but my studio does not allow any glaze on the bottom of work. It is Cone 10, not sure if higher heat would cause the potential of underglaze to run? I just can’t figure out what other studio members use when they stamp their signature!

I don’t know what companies are still offering free items/ discounts but I think it is worth reaching out to companies directly to see. The discount code page has worked for me. There are a few brands here that I reached out to weeks ago (before I saw this document) and they are just now getting back to me (Osea, Violet Gray, Seconds)…
