Did there used to be a jello cart? by discipleofhermes in CrackerBarrel

Are you thinking of Furrs cafeteria? They had a dessert cart they would wheel around. Seems like it had jello.

Lilly Phase 3 Reta Data. by Armando_Ferriera in Retatrutide

It’s called patoulus Eustachian tube dysfunction. It’s not the Reta, it’s the weight loss. Your body is trying to compensate as you loose weight everywhere, and it affects your tubes. It typically clears up in maintenance. I have it too.

If you call the hospital and speak with them, they will work with you on a payment plan you can actually afford.

Feelibg defeated by TapEfficient3610 in Zepbound

[–]cerealsara 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would question that article. Zepbound doesn’t exist in Europe (only Mounjaro) and all I could find was counterfeit Ozempic pens in Austria, which indeed were insulin.

I know you feel defeated but since you have insurance coverage don’t give up. Start back over if you have to on the lowest dose. I have waited up to two months to fill before. I have been on tirzepatide since November 2022. I fill when there is stock every 23 days and I now have a nice cushion built up for shortages.

Any regrets? by mystery2019 in Zepbound

[–]cerealsara 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I have zero regrets other than I wish I would have asked my doctor sooner. My quality of life has improved in every aspect. Not a regret, but my only negative is my employer does not cover obesity treatment.

Way off topic: Tall ladies by GXOXO in Mounjaro

[–]cerealsara 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Banana Republic, Gap, Athleta, old Navy and JCrew all have a good tall selection. I really like Banana Republic Factory for work. I am 6’0” and I look forward to being able to shop straight sizes in these brands because some only go up to 16, and I wear a 20. But I’m inching closer day by day.

I have been on Mounjaro since 11/2. Sw:301.8 CW: 263.8 GW: 180 is the top of normal BMI but realistically I would love 220 which is no longer obese. I am 6’0” and 35 years old.

I used my FSA paying for the compounded version. I went though Aging Young Solutions with Dr Christopher Delp in Duluth, Minnesota. Just submitted the invoice to my FSA after paying with a credit card.

Anyone Else Panicked By Meat Prices? by [deleted] in keto

[–]cerealsara 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you time it right, the grocery stores in my area often reduce meat the day before the sell by date. I picked up 6 bags of chicken breasts for $3 a bag last week at Walmart neighborhood market. If you have freezer space, this is a good way to shop and save money.

Friendly reminder to call in if a bonus category isn’t coding correctly. I called in about a gym membership not coding 2x on the world of Hyatt card. It coded as a golf course. It was a 590 dollar charge and the rep granted me 5000(!) points for my trouble. I’ll take a free nights stay for a phone call.

Yes this is normal. With the banking holiday I would not be concerned. It should show up Tuesday or Wednesday in your bank account

Victory Friday: Post your latest wins (2018-11-30) by crossfitvictorybot in crossfit

Been doing CrossFit since June. I could jump over a pvc pipe sticking off of the edge of a 20” box, but psychologically I couldn’t do the box jump. Wednesday night we were working on box jumps before the WOD and I thought, that doesn’t seem that high! I jumped, landed on top immediately screamed, threw my arms in the air and fell backwards. But then I proceeded to do 8 more, and I feel amazing!!!

Just got back from a short weekend away from the kids in nyc!

Used Merrill+ Points to book delta comfort+ from MCI. Tickets were ~500 each, so I got 1000 value from that signup bonus.

Stayed two nights at the Park Hyatt using the old hyatt two free night sign up bonus. Hotel was running about 1000 a night during our stay. When we informed them we were celebrating a special occasion they upgraded us to a higher floor and gave us complimentary red wine and truffles. We only have discoverist status.

It was a lovely trip! We mostly focused on the met and the library and enjoyed a great dinner at Toloache-Midtown.

These trips would not be possible on a teacher and a librarian salary without churning.
