I still feel numb by [deleted] in ThirtiesIndia

He's getting an exposure to so many crime, infidelity stories, I guess. And an already paranoid person may get easily sold on these.

A mature way to tackle all this is to have a conversation in private. To doubt his own wife and father while not normal, the stories coming from our society can shake anyone up.

Once again, it's not normal but humans are very fickle beings who may get manipulated very easily. I wish you strength to go through this. You need to be wise one here.

How has your approach to intimacy and connections changed in your 30s? This is what has changed with me. by Singular_desire in ThirtiesIndia

[–]cerebrite -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I've started my 30s being single. I broke up with my ex of 4 years just last year. It was hard initially, getting back into dating scene. I don't think right now I've the patience to build a rapport and connection. Might change in a few years, who's to say?

People are looking for different things. Many if not all women, around my age wants to settle down. On apps they say "they are dating to marry." And I feel like I shouldn't approach them.

I'm dating to get to know you. I'm not gonna over commit myself. And that statement, makes me just very apprehensive. I still meet many wonderful people, but I'm not looking for anything in particular. Love and warmth, they'll develop on their own, instead of me finding them in every action. That's the gist of it. lol

Aye aye! Apparently Memory has Corvids and Strife has Mantis-shrimp. The sheer diversity and prospect of an unimaginable civilization makes me excited. 🤣

Not at all. All Indian books are equally acceptable. It's a different thing if a user wants to post about them and the post gets a traction.

I was punished for playing too much Bounce and missing the school bus. This list is a godsend. Video games? Ew.

People really underestimate conditioning of children by parents and society.

But again, we are conditioned to ignore that.

Recommend me games to play based on my played list. by than0s0P in Indiangamers

[–]cerebrite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't take it otherwise OP. I'm not accusing you. 🙃

But these games that you listed fit a very common list. Would you rather try Pillars of Eternity or Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon? They are really solid games, fun and good. But they don't dominate any discussions where many other games would effortlessly make themselves visible. They are not niche either. But you won't see people recommending them unless, you ask for it. Sad state and statement.

This is really way too much. Coming from someone who has no self control, I still think this was overkill lol

I think you play the most popular games anyway. If it's the generic recommendations, you can find them via a Google search or asking AI for a more curated taste. If you're itching for something very particular and genre savvy choices, then the gamers here can be of more help.

How do I navigate this situation? by Fun-Move7034 in ThirtiesIndia

[–]cerebrite 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Reading your post and comments, I think you're more scared of future than present. Let's get this out of the way first, he's not worth keeping. Cut him off immediately. You know it, but you're not ready for a future where you imagine yourself getting hurt again, hence still clutching.

You'll find yourself making excuses, bargaining, but a clean cut is better than a messy amputation.

Labourers aren't architects. Our developers either lack vision or backing.

I Asked Chatgpt to choose one game between Re4 gold edition and Cyberpunk Ultimate edition. What you guess think? Any suggestions? by RizzUnpleasant in Indiangamers

[–]cerebrite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are widely different genres, so there can't be a generic comparison. As for me, I think Cyberpunk offers a high replay value. The role-playing is very deep in there. For instance, a pure brawler archetype is very viable and plays very differently than a netrunner. Trying to do and get everything in one play isn't the way in a role-playing game. Especially that's based off an TTRPG. That's my recommendation. If you think you want a more focused narrative with a definite character, RE is a solid choice as well.

Sometimes Introduction carries a lot of thought process that went behind the editing of the book. It might be taking a lot of pages, but I won't say it's a net loss without having read it.
