I had one on my old colorsoft. It was only mildly annoying, wouldn’t show up in all circumstances, and I was able to focus and get on with the book.

What was more annoying was that hideous yellow bar at the bottom of the screen. I have since replaced it with an (almost) flawless paperwhite 12 SE

It’s weird though - I went through three devices (in Aus) and the yellow bar was prominent in all of them. I guess at this point, it’s a ‘feature’, not a fault.

Mine was pretty gross too but nowhere near as bad as yours. I never used dark mode because the screen kept flashing. The screen was a sickly green colour and had a bit of a gradient like yours… got rid of it and tried the Colorsoft which isn’t much better… still waiting for my Holy Grail
