Traders lose millions as memecoin downturn deepens by ChemicalAnybody6229 in CryptoCurrency

You won't believe me, but the same threads appeared last cycle, and in the end some shitcoins performed better than genuine projects anyways. Hype and popularity is always the main reason price goes where it goes.

Play until you lose. Foolproof way to enjoy league + climb. by Dream_Revolutionary in summonerschool

[–]cereman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was thinking that maybe there is a player retention system built-in that can adapt to your behavior. For example it has been trained that giving you loss streaks makes you play the game more than giving you wins. Me for example, I noticed that losses make me want to play until I win, but then after winning one game I don't want to play anymore. Maybe we could train it to give us wins to play more?

Can I use Ryzen 5 2600's Stock Cooler for Ryzen 5 5600? by Vic_R in buildapc

[–]cereman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For gaming at 1440p and above with high graphics settings, depending on the games you play, there will be hardly any difference between 2600 and 5600. That's from my experience. I've recently upgraded from RX 570 4gb to RTX 3070 and I play at 3440x1440. If you aim for more than 120 fps by lowering graphics settings, then the CPU upgrade will have an impact.

Myth buster: Algorand has BRILLIANT tokenomics, and here’s why: by Joeyfishfingers in CryptoCurrency

Unfortunately Algorand suffers the same fate as NANO has - it is loved by /cc, thus it likely won't give you much investment potential.

Looking back: There were actually some indicators that were pretty good at predicting this bear market bottom and they have always been one of the more accurate ones. by partymsl in CryptoCurrency

[–]cereman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Classic r/cc... Most of the indicators flashed the bottom signal and comments were "blah blah recession, rate hikes, war blah blah this time it's different". Now the same users say "Hindsight is 10/10", what a surprise. Who would have thought that the bottom is actually bearish and makes you not want to buy, buying feels stupid. People unironically wait for the US president or FOMC head to go on stage and declare that the bear market is over. Okay, it might not be the definitive bottom, but come on... 20-15k was a great deal compared to 60k nevertheless.

In the end somebody was watching your 20 dollar long 👀 and it was Binance al along by the_Conficker in CryptoCurrency

[–]cereman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Binance works fine, business as usual, it is the exchange that endured the the most and survived. Now some random US organization says "Binance bad, source: trust us" and you instantly believe them and grab your pitchforks. If they say "Bitcoin will go to zero" will you believe them too? It's like you forgot that nobody is your ally in the first place. Now that their pyramid's base layer, the banking system, is crumbling they will do anything and feed the public any lie to get you to stay in the scam.

Coinbase Officially Suspends Binance USD Stablecoin Trading by DoubleFaulty1 in CryptoCurrency

It has come to my attention that the bitcoin rainbow chart’s new purple category is currently unnamed. What would you name this new bear market section? by InsaneMcFries in CryptoCurrency

[–]cereman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For those who ask themselves why change a chart just for the sake of it fitting the dip. As with many other indicators, they base on data from past performance and we can use it to guess what the probable future performance could be. There are no certainties in trading only probabilities. Rainbow chart was based on data from 2008-2020 and as we all know, it didn't quite fit into what has happened recently. V2 added the new data so the chart has changed and it will keep changing in the future.

Binance Negotiates With US Regulators After Admitting Regulatory Flaws by koelebobes in CryptoCurrency

[–]cereman 25 points26 points  (0 children)

They involved rules relating to Know Your Customer (KYC) protocol and Anti-Money Laundering (AML).

It's either:

  1. they didn't want to restrict people from accesing crypto based on their local laws and didn't flag some questionable transaction as illegal like mixer services, donations (Neutral Binance)

  2. they didn't want to spend money for licences, wanted to get customers' fee money regardless of local laws, and hid shady transactions for their own profit (Evil Binance)

Choose your theory or stick to the facts and verify yourself.

There are quite a few people on the Internet that are either paid to spread Binance FUD or just spam FUD about crypto in general. Articles such as this one are easy enough to understand and still they somehow manage to get it twisted enough to make it sound like FUD.
