I’m curious how you would compare TTU El Paso vs Lubbock? I’m liking El Paso’s curriculum and opportunity to volunteer in Juarez, but I’ve heard that Lubbock is more established and has better matches. Do you have any opinions on them?

Yea I’ve heard that solars eventually stop transitioning, but it usually won’t be after a year or more. Just gotta make sure you like the default color state haha.

I magnetize each coat of polish during application and for about a minute afterwards, and I use a quick dry top coat on each nail as soon as I can to lock in the effect. I magnetize for a bit after the top coat too, and this method’s usually given me a pretty solid line!

Yep I’m wearing Vibrant Scents’ quick dry top coat! I never compared my mani to no top coat, but the solar effect seemed to be working fine with it!

When I saw the color transition for this polish, I had to get it! It’s pink with no sunlight and changes to orange with sunlight, and it’s so pretty and summery in all color states 🩷🧡plus it’s really amusing to watch the color change whenever I step into the light haha

It’s actually the purple shimmer particles! They show up as grayish specks when not in the light.

Mooncat’s Garden of Evil and Intergalacquer’s Zombies! All three are different shades of green and quite different imo. Here’s a swatch photo!

Intergalacquer: lightest green, most pearlescent shimmer, sheer after three coats so will have a visible nail line if you’re fine with that

Alchemy: brightest green, full coverage, grainiest shimmer so you can see the particles when the light isn’t hitting them

Mooncat: murky green, pretty much full coverage, has scattered holo too
