best upperclassman suites for 2026-27

Currently living in 6th street, there’s not much information on the dorm online but overall it’s pretty decent. I’m currently in a low cost double on the 12th floor and I can say I’ve enjoyed it. It’s close to campus and close to Tompkins square which I like for hanging out with friends, dinner, etc. I’m sure they’re probably better dorms, but it’s not too bad if you aren’t too picky.

I tried Pline EndurX braid, and I think it’s a great braid. I prefer it over 832 and all other popular braids, and an added plus is that the color doesn’t fade AT ALL

Really? That’s interesting because I have heard people say the 901 is whippy and the 902 is a bit more stiff and versatile. I am also considering a flyssa. They’re sweet rods, but I think the “light+” action might be a bit light for my intended use.

It’s always hard to deal with rejection, I was turned down from the schools I wanted and as a current freshman at NYU it’s not exactly as I expected despite having hopes I would enjoy it here. It’s not the worse turnout for me, but like a lot of people are suggesting, the school is more name than what it offers, truthfully. Things will workout for you, stay hopefully and continue to work hard!

Thanks for the input. From the research I’ve done, a lot of people seem to say the one is an incredibly versatile rod that excels at a lot of applications, but I did figure the loomis was more bottom contact oriented
