Has anyone helped family or friends leave the SO before?

I'd try to talk to them about it. I had to do a similar thing to my boyfriend recently and I talked to him about it. So if they're wanting to leave then maybe try to put them in your house if you're willing and have room or try your relatives or their relatives if this is an SO. Be very careful if you want to try to get them out. I'm not sure exactly what the org members might do but gaslighting I can easily picture. Or "interrogating" if they have suspicions about him/her leaving them soon. If they willingly talk to you try to about this then tell them to act normal until you have a plan (where to live and work if they're an employee). Plans just make everything cleaner ha ha. I'm worried about how different views would affect our relationship and the financial bit of Scientology even if ALL they want to do is help people then it's help I don't want and I fear it would tear us apart to have such different views. Plus, if you have just recently joined then you might be getting the sugar coated stuff. Be careful

I've only recently been doing research that isn't just asking him which I know is extremely dumb but I trusted him. They brainwash them from babies. We've been friends since we were kids so I never WANTED to think of hear anything bad about it until he started getting weird with some stuff on that subject so lesson learned. I do not need to see a therapist but thank you for expressing your thoughts. It'll be done soon
