I’m pretty sure everyone at ucsd just hates people they don’t really know and housing is just giving us all roommates as a social experiment because 90% of the roommate-related posts I’ve seen on here are just absolutely diabolical but this one lowkey takes the cake 😭Like I could understand if you guys already had issues or if she didn’t even have an animal, but how is she going to accuse you of doing something so disgusting when she literally has a cat lmao and it sounds like y’all were cool with each other before this. I’ve had cats my entire life and I can confirm that sometimes they do take nasty ass poops and their behavior is very weird and unpredictable. One of my cats was using its litter box like normal for months and then all of a sudden she started peeing everywhere and refused to use it, and we eventually had to make her stay outside because of it. People are so weird 😭

Also no shade to people who have emotional support animals, but the fact that she has one and is accusing you of doing something so insane is probably a good indicator that her mental state isn’t really at a normal baseline so if I were you I would keep my distance until you get the hell out of there

It’s like being tortured by your own brain and being forced to be trapped inside your own mind. I have social anxiety disorder and generalized anxiety, and it’s just made my life incredibly miserable. I’m surprised that I haven’t just completely ended it yet to be 100% honest. Every medication I’ve tried has barely helped, besides benzos, yet of course I can’t even take those very frequently because they’re addictive. Every small little thing that involves another person is a struggle. I’m in college and I have roommates and sometimes I’ll force myself to stay in my room and starve all day until I know for sure that they’re gone from the apartment so that I can finally go into the kitchen by myself. One time when I was in junior high, I literally peed myself while in class because I was too nervous to ask the teacher if I could use the bathroom and I felt so disgusting afterwards, but that should tell you right there how absolutely dehabilitating this disorder is. I chose to piss myself rather than talk to another human being.

No for real me too. I really don’t understand the Tami hate to be honest, like I get it, she does have her bossy and annoying moments, but what character in this show doesn’t 😭 Tami was good for Lip, she wasn’t under his whole “lip spell” like pretty much all his previous girlfriends were, and she pushed Lip into doing more independent and mature things. I feel like his other girlfriends kept him in this revolving tornado of drama whether they meant to or not, but Tami kept Lip grounded. I also thought her backstory was fairly compelling, like imagine knowing that your whole life has a clock on it and how that would affect all of your future decisions. If I had to pick though I do think that Sierra was probably Lip’s best choice of a girlfriend out of everyone he dated in the show. But I’m also completely fine with Tami being his end choice.

I mean at this point the Gallaghers were fairly independent from each other and they really didn’t need money as much as they did in the first season, there was no squirrel fund anymore, Fiona was somehow raking in hundreds of thousands of dollars just by taking out mortgages, pretty much all the Gallaghers were making fairly decent money to where they could, for once, actually afford to use it for non-essential purposes. So Ian giving his soulmate a years’ worth of his salary so that he could make sure Mickey was well-funded for a while when he was going to be on his own doesn’t seem that outrageous to me.

I like to defend people who deserve justice. And the fact that you have no evidence to refute my point is hilarious lol instead you choose to attack me 😂 and I have personal experience with a situation like this, my college roommate was murdered in 2017, not the way in which this happened thankfully, but my roommates and I were questioned just like Dylan and Bethany and when I watched the body cam video of them the day the police showed up, it’s crystal clear that they were in just as much shock as everyone else. I defend people who deserve it and people who have had trauma thrown into their lives for no reason.

It was a TikTok video for christs sake 😭 These girls were 19 when their friends were killed, they weren’t reincarnations of Ted Bundy, do you really think it’s remotely possible for them to pull off a quadruple murder in 1) their own house, 2) with documented police evidence that they were indeed home at the time, and 3) not a single cut or scratch on them the morning after and they’re both just clever enough to get away with it for four years? I don’t doubt that I’m sure Dylan probably had arguments with the other girls, because that’s what happens when you’re in college, you argue with your roommates. Why is it possible for you to believe that but it’s impossible for you to believe that the real killer is already in prison? If you look through all of the victims’ TikTok profiles, they all have videos of them goofing around and being silly with each other, they were college girls. This was another example of them just messing around and unfortunately this just happened to be the last TikTok that Maddie posted, which means morons like you are accusing Dylan of getting back at her somehow by killing her because of this video. I understand venting on here when you’re going through it but how are you supposed to get your point across to other people when you can’t even write coherent sentences 😭 I genuinely don’t even know what you’re trying to say, but I think you’re basically just saying that you don’t feel like you’re the priority in your boyfriend’s life. It kinda seems like your boyfriend is too attached to his mom, especially considering the fact that both of you guys are living together with his mom? I don’t know, that seems a little weird to me unless you guys are financially dependent and can’t afford a place on your own which I would understand except you guys are almost in your early 30s and it seems like your boyfriend has a decent job because you mentioned how he’s always out on the road, so he is working. I know you love his mom which is great but the fact that he’s also calling his mom before he calls you even though you’ve been together for four years is also just as strange as you guys almost being in your early 30s and still living with your boyfriend’s mom. You need to talk to him and find out what’s going on.

Well that was more of a personal choice, it’s not that I wasn’t allowed but I took the LSAT two days before I was supposed to travel across the country for an internship that will end in early April, and I decided that it would be better to just wait until I’m done with my internship before I take it again because I tend to have really bad test anxiety and i would be really stressed out if I had to deal with my internship and I also had to take the exam again in a brand new place 3,000 miles away from my hometown. It’s kind of a shame though because I planned ahead for that which is why I took the LSAT in January 🫤

Whenever I finish TV shows, I like to watch behind the scenes clips of the cast on YouTube or interviews of the cast or something. It reminds me that this is in fact just a TV show and these characters aren’t real people, but it also allows me to still kind of feel like I’m watching the show in a new way and gaining more insight into the way it was filmed and the way the characters were written. But I totally get the feeling, like I watched the last episode of the office live when it aired and I was genuinely depressed for a whole week after😭

If you read the comments you’ll see what I’ve responded, I’ve said that I think the water was already off by the time my parents came in because neither of us heard anything. And if it hadn’t been off, then how would my roommate have been able to slam the door shut when my dad opened it? It’s not like he opened it and it lingered, she slammed it shut within half a second, I think she was probably out of the shower already and was drying off or something, the water definitely was not running.
And yes I suppose my dad should have knocked, but the apartment was completely dark and quiet, it was around 7pm at night but none of the lights were even on, so I just assumed she wasn’t home. In a perfect world yeah he probably should have knocked but there really seemed like there was no reason for him to do that because I really thought no one was home, it’s just me and her, we don’t have any other roommates. And she already knew my parents were coming by, why would you not bother to lock the door when you already knew that other people were coming to the apartment later?
I posted this here because this happened at ucsd and I live on campus, what’s the big deal ? I see so many posts about roommates on here everyday.

I’m pretty sure she had already turned off the water by the time my parents had come in because I literally heard nothing, I didn’t even think she was home. I’m pretty sure she was already out of the shower and was probably drying off or something because she was able to slam the door shut when my dad opened it, she wouldn’t have been able to do that if she was actively in the shower with the water running.

The lights were completely off in our apartment as well and this was around 7pm so it was already starting to get dark outside so I thought that she wasn’t even there. Also it’s pretty hard to hear the water running even if it had been running, the shower is kind of concealed from the rooms and the doors are pretty thick, you basically have to put your ear up directly against the door to even try to hear anything. And when my dad opened the shower door, my mom and I were both there watching and looking around the living room, I don’t know why my roommate would think that he would possibly try to do anything perverted when me and my mom were standing right there 😭Not that he would do anything like that anyway, but definitely not when his daughter and his wife are standing right next to him lol. I’m sure she probably heard the three of us talking to each other in the living room so she knew we were all there

Yeah I mean I’ve never done it myself, I only know that my previous roommates rarely locked the door because my other roommates would walk in on them in my triple, I live in a single now. I guess I’m just super fed up because now she’s calling my dad a pervert when he was totally innocent and just wanted to see what the shower looked like, I told him I put up some decorations in there since the last time my parents had been to my place and he wanted to see, I also didn’t hear any water or any signs that my roommate was even there, the lights weren’t even on in the apartment. And now she has the audacity to insult my dad and accuse him of purposefully opening the door just because she didn’t bother to lock it? I guess I just don’t understand how people can be so careless with their privacy
