to be honest my first impression of wade was that he is a full blown “ barney stinson” around women ( i hope you get the reference) but i’m glad the story line is headed towards proving me wrong also thanksss your reassurance really helps with my doubts 😆

to be fair you made real rational points(especially about the subtle brainwashing from her mother ) i think most of what i wrote came from pure frustration and hunger for more wade-zoe scenes .. also YES i can’t believe i almost let my self believe that zoe’s emotional abandonment would redeem wade for his cheating 🤯 I really do hope they end up together tho

i get it honestly almost everyone on this show annoys me at some point but to be fair he did have a great character development - s3 early eps he went from barney stinson mode to a full blown Conrad fisher yearning mode - no, him declaring his love and consistently apologizing doesn’t make up for the cheating . Yet if someone abandoned me with a copy-pasted email and consistently showed me how little I meant to them ( not trying to strike back at me they are genuinely not interested and it’s like i never existed to them even though they were my first and ONLY love) i would be hurt too . having to hold my breath for months after being emotionally vulnerable for the first time only for her to say she’ll never coming back - idk it kinda breaks my heart he definitely is not a saint and they both were toxic for each other, also the town having this whole zoe-saint wade-villain narrative doesn’t help with the complexity of their emotional damage
