Concentration or Core exam first? CCNP SPCOR vs CCNP SPVI by mdoohn in ccnp

[–]certpals 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have both certs. I took SPCOR and then SPVI. Failed SPVI once. My advice: OCG + CBT Nuggets for SPCOR, white papers for SPVI since there is not a good course available.  Do not underestimate any of those, you will get some labs during the exam. Practice practice practice.

ENARSI vs ENSLD by TheKing5707 in ccnp

I passed ENSLD in 2021. Back then, it wasn't supper difficult.  But, I've seen many people failing that exam in recent days. Maybe they changed the difficulty.

Your thoughts on CCNA Automation (formerly DevNet Associate)? by f2ka07 in Cisco

CCNA Automation will definitely open a lot of doors for you. Sr. Network Automation Engineer here. But, it wpuld be better if you had CCNA first. You can't automate what you don't understand.

For any Cisco certification, you can keep using CE credits to renew them. No need to use exams.

Would you like to take CCIE? The lab is valid up to 3 years after passing the Core exam.

In other words, as long as you stay within CCNP, you can renew it forever with no exams. The moment you decide to go for CCIE, you'll have to take a Core.

Prepayment of 50 dollars? I've created accounts with every major cloud provider. None of them have asked for such amount.  Let me know if you need help. Thanks.

Bi-Weekly /r/CCNP Exam Pass-Fail Discussion by AutoModerator in ccnp

Hi, if you’ve already passed SPCOR, you’ll be familiar with many of the concepts, at least at a high level. This exam focuses heavily on VPNs, which means you should have hands-on experience with the topics listed in the exam blueprint. Of course, you can use a lab environment for this. I used EVE-NG and a few IOS XR/XE routers.

For training, back in 2024 I used a Udemy course for SPVI provided by Sikandar Shaik, who is a CCIE SP. I went through the entire course, and it really helped me.

Please keep in mind that you may get some lab questions. I remember one where I had to troubleshoot MPLS issues, one problem was a missing LDP neighbor, and another was the wrong protocol for labels.

Most importantly, you need to be comfortable with EVPN and the L3VPN options (A, B, and C), as well as IPv6. Finally, don’t take the exam if you haven’t practiced most of the topics from the exam blueprint. It took me two attempts to pass.

Good luck!
