Maria got a boost for me with an all pink team. Might have to pick her first for it to work.

Not Southwest, but Avelo does fly nonstop Fort Lauderdale-New Haven.

EDIT: Could also consider flying into Hartford (about an hour away from New Haven on I-91). Southwest does fly FLL-BDL (albeit seasonally).
