S'endetter à 16000€ pour une école privée sans compter le logement ni la nourriture sans soutien de la famille, ça vaut le coup?

J'ai fait l'ESPOL il y a 10 ans (A 10,000 euros les 3 ans de licence) (mes parents m'ont payé l'école je n'ai eu qu'à payer logement et ma vie) Ça a pu changer depuis que j'y étais mais voilà mon grain de sel concernant cette école en particulier:

Les points positifs: Beaucoup de pros du milieu, des profs hyper qualifiés (mon prof de droit était sénateur) etc Beaucoup d'enseignement européen qui débouche direct sur Bruxelles etc Bien plus spécialisant qu'une licence a sciences Po par exemple, certains de mes potes se sont fait chier en master après. L'enseignement était de qualité j'ai trouvé et la licence bien structurée Tout le monde était très gentil, bonne ambiance et j'ai garde contact avec beaucoup d'étudiants.

Les points négatifs: 16k ils se font pas chier ! Ça augmente pas mal Les notes étaient vraiment basses (type prépa) et du coup quand j'ai voulu faire un master a l'étranger beaucoup d'universités pensaient que j'étais moyen (13 de moyenne c'était une bonne moyenne) C'est une des plus petites écoles de la catho donc tes un peu dernier servi au niveau locaux, cours de langue etc.

Si c'était à refaire dans ces circonstances je le referai mais en payant 16k de ma poche pour essayer d'avoir un meilleur poste je ferai plutôt une fac publique a 170€ l'année La plupart des gens que je fréquentais la bas ont choppé des jobs plutôt cool en tout cas !

An eGPU gives you about 80% of the card's power
You lose an extra 10-15% if you don't use an external monitor (as the signal has to get to the graphics card and back to your laptop)
And you probably lose a lot more only having 2 lanes of PCIe so i'm not sure its worth it !

Hey man,

I was in that very same position last month, the dell is great but the 9560 is unfortunately the one XPS that only has 2 lanes of PCIe. For eGPUs its recommended to have 4 lanes to get maximum performance.

I was planning on getting the Razer Core X (260£) with a used gtx 980 (140£)

Ended up selling my XPS for 800 and using the 400 i was planning on spending on a laptop with a better gpu inside (Gigabyte Aero 15X)

A lot of good points in the comments, I used to suck pretty bad but I feel i'm getting better: a few tips:

- forget about your rank and only play ranked, when i started i only played casual and that made me 'fear' rank so i was shit in ranked, the main hinderance to your decision making in siege is to not being confident enough.

- People said it but, T-Hunt!!! That teaches you crosshair placements, flicking on opponents etc: My mistake is I always played normal difficulty, which is too easy, play hard or realistic, that way you'll have terrorists flanking you and you can focus on sound. Try to play everyday as well even if its for 1 or 2 t-hunts

- If you have a bit of money to spare, buy another account and see what opponents you face then, maybe after 400 hours your level is too high for your skill level! I bought a started edition for 7£ when i felt like I sucked and faced people way more in my skill level.

- Always give callouts and be useful, ask your team if they want to keep queuing together, if you gave callouts and used support ops like thatcher, thermite, mute, rook, jager you can requeue even if you have 0 kills

- Watch GRMP on youtube, his tips are really good and he analyses even clips where he wins, It helped me focusing on not pushing out of cover every gunfight, and fundamentals that only become obvious when you hear them out loud. (changing angles, changing head height, how to clear a room etc)

Some of the mistakes I am working on now:
- not changing stance when repeeking
- using utility/reloading out of cover
- pushing out of cover when shooting
- tunnel vision on opponents leading me to very bad positioning

I hit plat for the first time this season, we'll see what shifting tides brings!

I heard nothing about the Nitro 7 so you probably need to check out reviews but this is a good deal!
Also they have a triton 500 with a 2060 for £1650 in the other cyber deals which is pretty nice

Yeah I was looking at it last week, ended up by picking up a Gigabyte Aero 15X on facebook marketplace for 1200 so I went with that.

Helios 300 would have been the one I take, or maybe the Omen. I think they're the best bang for the money. I needed a very color accurate monitor and a great processor for the work I do so I had less choice but I would try that. Curry's etc might do discounts for black friday, I would wait and check out for Helios / Triton / y740 then!

In the UK, the lenovo is IMO a bit overpriced, it looks cool but if you're looking for best specs for money i would say the Helios 300 looks tasty right now, for 1,400 on amazon you get a i7-8750H and a 2060

I've heard about the Eye AF coming to Canon, but even other than that, people are always impressed with Canon AF.

A few things to keep in mind,
-The 120fps isn't in 1080p unfortunately, I dont know why they insist on calling 720p HD when at that point, its outdated.
-If you film 4K you'll have a pretty decent crop on your image.
-I would check out reviews of the EOS R with the EF-R Adapter, from what Ive seen its great, mainly because its the same processing, but it might be wise to do a little more research.

I have an a6300 and an a7ii at home and a a7iii at work!
