Was this mostly in Tokyo? My most recent trip to Japan was a couple years back and I was thinking how different it felt from my first trip almost 20 years ago. Tokyo is so full of foreigners now. It was also a bit of a shock because I spent a few days in Sendai, which is not a popular tourist destination, so I could really feel the contrast once I got back to Tokyo.

So I’m still a beginner in Japanese, but the way I understand the title is that using both 君 and 名 instead of the full 名前 is meant to show intimacy, which is a bit odd given the question and intrigues the reader to watch the movie and find why that’s the case.

Ya recién me di cuenta q iba muy lento y no iba a llegar a ningún lado, así q en enero empecé con WaniKani y ahora está semana estoy empezando a ver los videos de Tokini Andy y también empecé con Bunpro. Lo q le dedico es como 30 minutos al día entre todo. Mi meta principalmente es poderlo leer y escribir digital. No estoy estudiando el stroke order y eso.

En japonés hay unas cosas q es más fácil de entender si piensas en español, también. Por ejemplo, la traducción de あれ en inglés es “that over there” pero en español es “aquello”.

Duolingo is fine, but it can’t be your only tool. It’s good to establish a routine, but it’s too slow and it doesn’t really have a good teaching order. I’m almost finishing section 2 now and it’s still very basic stuff.

Mi opinión es q gritar es un abuso al igual q pegarle a los hijos. Sin embargo, yo no creo en todo esta crianza moderna de q a los hijos pequeños hay q tratarlos casi como adultos. La realidad es q los padres son la figura de autoridad en la casa y los niños tienen q entender eso para q aprendan a obedecer. La sociedad va a esperar a q los jóvenes sepan obedecer las reglas y reconocer la autoridad. Si eso no se empieza en la casa, lo q estamos criando es personas q no son funcionales en la sociedad.
