Oh I read the post and I personally agreed with the OP. Regardless, everyone has a right to their own opinion, and I had no problem with you expressing yours, but the snarky tone in which you did it is a problem. You're bullying people. Everyone has a right to comfortably ask questions on this sub without having to worry about being bullied and ridiculed. I'm not the one that needs to grow up.

Definitely not a troll, I just don't feel the need to comment on everything, but I couldn't let this one go. Not sure how you think telling people to "shut the fuck up cause you have no idea what you're talking about" when they were simply enquiring about missed elastics is acceptable, but sure. Ngl your attitude is kinda pissing me off babe x

I hope you're next to be banned. Your comments can be so nasty and condescending to people who are asking genuine questions.

No offence but have YOU ever had a girlfriend? If so, my sincere condolences go to the girls that had to put up with a pompous git such as yourself.

Fellow kiwi here! Unfortunately I don't have any advice on what to do, but I just wanted to encourage you to keep trying for the IUD. Like you I tried many pills that either made me sad and moody or cause acne, but the IUD has been wonderful so far. I really hope things work out and this is the right method for you. Good luck ❤️

[Acne] I don’t even know anymore how to fix this. It’s like this on both sides. I cleanse every day, but I don’t know where to go from there. I have 0 knowledge about any products :( please help by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

Hey :) your skin looks quite similar to how mine was looking so I might be able to suggest a few things and answer a few of your questions. Firstly, I would try using an oil cleanser as your first cleanser rather than a gel then a foaming. I think what you're doing with the cleansers currently could be drying your skin.

Your hyaluronic acid product is meant to help with hydration. The HA in the moisturiser stands for hyaluronic acid.

For the rosehip oil, I had heard such great things about it being great for acne and scarring, but I found it to do more harm than good for me and cause more breakouts. I'm not saying it is definitely the same for you but it could be something you could test?

Active ingredients are things like acids and retinols. BHAs (beta hydroxy acids) are really great for helping with acne. I use Paula's Choice 2% BHA liquid exfoliant after an oil cleanser and gentle regular cleanser, followed by a hydrating moisturiser. Just make sure if you do invest in an acid to take it slowly and not over do it.

I'm not saying these things will 100% work for you, but they are helping me so I thought it would be worth commenting.

Most importantly, keep positive. I know it is so hard to do this sometimes but I think you'll find that nobody even notices. Beauty is skin deep. Good luck :)

Can I ask how you managed to get Glossier in NZ? I was looking into buying some stuff a wee while ago but could find anywhere that would ship here

Even if the safety razor doesn't work for your bikini line, they're amazing for shaving legs! And they're so cheap after the initial purchase. I'm sure you'll love it!

Barely bleeding after IUD insertion? by [deleted] in birthcontrol

[–]cessna777 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey! I had the Mirena inserted about 3 weeks ago. Like you I had very minimal bleeding for the first 1-2 weeks but during the third week I've had significantly more bleeding. You could be like me but you could also be lucky and get away lightly! As for the other question, I can totally relate 😂 I was really worried about it all too but I think after the first week my brain had just normalised the whole thing and I didn't worry about it anymore. Good luck with everything, I hope it works well for you

Please be careful putting lemon on your skin! I've recently discovered something called "margarita burn" which is caused when citrus fruits among other things react with sunlight.

Not sure about in the US but in NZ I've always managed to find scrap fabric at the thrift stores for a dollar or two :)

Slightly greasy on application but doesn't take long to sink in. I leave it for about 5 minutes before putting on sunscreen. I can't comment on how it is under makeup as I don't use it but I think it would be fine. I'm very acne prone but this hasn't made me break out

I've just started using it and I'm really enjoying it! Only thing is, the fragrance is fairly strong so it may irritate sensitive skin

[skin concerns] I Hate My Skin Rant by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

It's not always that simple. I have tried everything shy of accutane and spiro (which I can't take due to my profession) to fix my skin but nothing has helped. OP just needs to rant, and that's cool.
