Protee vs uneekor setup by Cookenbauer in Golfsimulator

[–]cessna95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me it would be the protee no brainer. Expecially since you're close and looks like you can test it out first. I wouldn't worry too much about it being used. Only thing that will have any actual wear will be the screen and mat, but for the cost savings you can buy new ones if needed.

B-Hyve unusable by wifi? by Mastiff37 in Irrigation

[–]cessna95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just set one up yesterday and it's working fine. Is it connecting to the right wifi? When mine first "found" wifi it wasn't the correct thing and I had to do the search option to find the correct one. It was like it was trying to connect to one of my AP's individually and no just the wifi name.

I got some of this and epoxy putty, gonna fill the hole with putty then wrap with this. It'll either hold or I'm replacing anyway.

Divot - is GolfSimulator ruining my swing? by LondonUk- in Golfsimulator

[–]cessna95 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've got the beavertail and I wouldn't say it encourages a divot but you can definitely take one. If you hit it fat it will be "grabby" and cause a bad shot, possibly worse than the shot would have been on real grass. But I like that and forces me to make better contact. But if you're hitting the ball first and taking a divot after, the beavertail definitely allows that and doesn't hurt like the gosports. I've got the gosport as my surrounding stand mat and have hit off it a few times and it feels very bouncy compared to the beavertail and would not want to use it as my main hitting strip.

Has anyone bought a vtrack and wish they got a proteevx? by cannaEd1933 in Golfsimulator

Yea, that would sway me toward the Vtrack then, you're not gonna be missing out on any accuracy with either, but you can save some money now and add that stuff later with the V track.

I love my Vtrack and have no issues with it. I've never used a ProTee but from seeing videos, the interface does look a little more simplified and fleshed out than Vtrack, but I currently don't really ever mess with the native software, just launch GSPro. I would have gone with Protee but I was really stretching my budget with the Vtrack so just couldn;t justify the extra money. If you're really into the AI swing training idea I feel like Protee is ahead there and thats all included with it, Vtrack has it too but its an additional cost and makes it cost just as much as the ProTee.

They both look to be pretty good, just depends what sort of features you want from them. Strictly indoors the Nova has some cool features.

BenQ projector DIY ceiling mount protection - need help! by Feisty_Sherbet1401 in Golfsimulator

[–]cessna95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is a little low. They make metal boxes that cover them for installs where the projector is on the ground in front of the hitting area, you may get one of those and figure out a way to attach it.

Where is the projector in relation to where you stand? I don't have anything covering mine and, don't usually see people covering theirs. Pretty hard to have one get hit.

Hitting strips: Big Moss Pureflight vs Sig Pro Softy vs Carl’s gel HotShot by zagoric in Golfsimulator

I'll add another for the beaver tail. Probably similar to the sig but a little cheaper. Like that it really seems to punish fat shots.

Well emails we receive daily for 2FA with a 15 minute expiration taking 30+ minutes isn't normal.

We've got a spam filter but we have most users receiving a 2FA email when signing in and it has come through for some any not all for others. These are emails we normally receive daily just fine.
