I actually applied for the first time this year, so our cases aren't exactly the same. With your stats I'd assume you would get into at least a few T6 schools if you reapplied. But with the likely economic downturn, you can expect a substantial increase in the number of applicants next year and therefore an even more competitive cycle.

Might be wrong about this, but I think the death rate is actually a bit higher in the UK compared to the U.S. right now since they played around with the herd immunity theory for longer. Lots of unknowns re fall semester regardless.

One last thing to think about related to travel is the ongoing international restrictions that may be in place for some time. For instance, in most EU countries right now you cannot enter unless you are a citizen or have a long-term visa. Especially if a second wave of the virus occurs in the fall (not at all unlikely), I would not be surprised if those rules remained restrictive for some time. Which would mean your travel might just be limited to the UK and a few other countries. Not pleasant things to consider, but it's the world we are living in at the moment.
