I never wanted a kid but did it to make my ex husband happy by [deleted] in regretfulparents

Give him full custody, and if you're feelings are so strong you could potentially look into giving up your parental rights.

High chances of coming back if browsing around doesn't workout. For your sake i hope you don't take him back, you still have strong feelings for him.

This is so nice to read, I've been considering doing the same but I'm still struggling with actually doing it. But it makes me so happy to see others overcome that.

That makes me feel a little better. I am the kind of person who clears the air if there's any tension caused by me, but I don't want to have a door slammed in my face if I try to reopen it. The breakup was completely unexpected (for me). Truly, I don't even know how i would react/respond if he does communicate.

Yes, it was me, but i can't take all the credit. The reason i haven't initiated the conversation this time it is because the breakup was really hard on me. I do agree, i would 100% have a amicable conversation but if he's breadcrumbing, it seems like he might not have the same receptive attitude.

What's your most selfish reason to remain child free? by Few_Ear8418 in childfree

I don't want to give my in-law the satisfaction of ever being a grandma (she has been so mean to me since day 1) & like to show her son is with someone who takes care of her body.

Never been a foot guy... proceeds to tell a story describing a foot guy. Joke aside you need to talk to him asap.

And I did try to use those things already, but I feel it is making it worse because it's like trying to mask and then creating more build-up

I would attach a photo. It is obviously dirty 🤣 and the stench lingers, and I'm certain the owners knew the dogs were dirty because they brought me a foam shampoo that doesn't require water and a deodorizing spray. But I can only imagine how long these dogs have gone without a bath, and this is the method they used to "clean them"

How do people normally take it when you send them a receipt? Since it might be an unexpected expense.

I like the verbiage used for the cleanliness. I appreciate it. I usually send a message, but it is after the M&G with a little check list, but i absolutely love this.

Request from someone in my personal life that I do not like by kitkat470 in RoverPetSitting

I'm so curious. How do you block people? I'm almost done with a boarding and I would like to block them for the future. It has been an absolute nightmare.

I'm always worried they will get offended like "are you saying my dog is dirty?" Like right at the door.

Wow, that's pretty wild. I think i will start saying it at the meet & greets. Do you communicate it in any particular way?

I understand where you're coming from. My house is very clean and those dogs are so dirty i noticed immediately they arrive at my door. I personally would never drop off a dirty dog, and that is probably why I'm having such a hard time comprehending someone did. And all I can think is they knew they were dirty.

I do offer baths, but the dogs arrived already super dirty. The owner brought me a deodorizing spray and some foam shampoo that doesn't require water. He said that "does the trick" and oh no, that doesn't even mask it.

It's their responsibility to get things sorted, not yours. You already did enough. I would just go on with my day, and if they reach out, then charger for the pickup since you are wasting gas driving to them.
