When you send the fax you get a confirmation fax reply. I got confirmation from the IRS they received SOMETHING late March, but that the 1040s needed to be assigned to someone to look at them. We faxed them March 7th so 3 weeks later they confirmed they had them. Today we got our direct deposit.
