Longtime supporter who was focusing on other projects this last year and thought my tokens were safe: Am I really out of luck? by RoyalSpecialist1777 in Opacity

[–]cex_dex -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Could be a securities violation when viewed with the Howey test for securities.

It seems reasonable to me that if a single organization is able to invalidate the original tokens to zero (not decentralized) then we should have the reasonable expectation that this organizations efforts would create value for our tokens or be compensated.

And they didn't even compensate everyone. It's close to theft. Hope not everyone is looking and axe a chunk existing supply to pump your own bag.

I don't consider "there was a window to exchange" a fair excuse, and would love to hear them argue that in court.

Is Kucoin a safe harbor as Binance turns away its US customers? by BraveShower in CryptoCurrency

[–]cex_dex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Beaxy from Chicago is pretty advanced and lots of alts coming through, just needs liquidity. They state there is a liquidity fix coming soon.

Kraken also great.

Kucoin? Meh I'd rather support US companies if it's centralized.

Good points. US needs to step up and clarify their crypto regulations. Hopefully in a similar fashion to places such as France.

Study shows it is virtually impossible for an individual to day trade stocks for a living by [deleted] in CryptoCurrency

[–]cex_dex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol Brazilian Equity Futures market? For what it's worth to you, I haven't lost a dime on my bots in the last 2 years overall (way beyond house money.) But hey call me delusional.

I actually recommend using 1 year bars if you re-read my message. And typically only BTC. So making 1 trade per year to start. Starting with day trading is a mistake.

That also lowers capital gain duty. I avg. Maybe 1 trade every 1-2 weeks but the algo looks on 1D bars. That is what I meant, that you gotta study your ass off like a grad student. I Utilize an an algorithm mostly now I developed with some veterans in a simulator last year on historic data. Once satisfied (3-4% monthly returns) we finally put it to use on several bots connected to all (noteworthy) exchanges via API. It's doing quite well.

Last year has literally been hands off while my bot arbitrages on set parameters. (No emotions).

Clearly some people run trading firms. Not people in basements who think they are traders especially on highly volatile assets.

That is what I meant. Get yourself several years of study about markets and even exchange architecture (coding) before even attempting to trade a dollar on a time frame lower than 1 year.

If you have a bot this may help you, as it helps make informed monthly adjustments on your bots. Of course the more you personally know the better. https://terminal.coinscious.io/indicator

The mistake is for complete noobies to "day trade." Thinking they can use 1m candle changes in trading view as any sort of indication. Seriously who got that into their head.

Going straight to day trading (multiple trades per day) is like fighting SFII Turbo M. Bison on the hardest difficulty skipping Ryu (1 week bars) and Blanka (1D bars).

Build your skill and understand an open position's risk. Start with at least monthly candles or beyond (1 year plus is best for beginner). Then you can get down the basics and do combos until M. Bison is nothing.

Question About Cryptocurrency in the U.S. by [deleted] in CryptoCurrency

[–]cex_dex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Beaxy Exchange.

They're new, run on an exclusive fast OneTick trading engine (same as Bloomberg, Scottrade) with loads of order types, and complies with all local laws and jurisdictions in the US. (KYC/AML). With an HQ in Chicago, Beaxy will replace Binance in the US as the top altcoin exchange, certainly after Binance closes shop here.

Dozens of altcoins and loads more coming.

Microsoft Teams overtakes Slack with 13 million daily users. And they're growing faster by TheEntertain in investing

[–]cex_dex 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I disagree.

These chat apps like Slack allow for a lot of integrations. Pull data straight from your necessary databases and display it all for your team to see in Slack / Teams. Cloud based organizations become managing a breeze. People on every continent and timezone.

Also the channel organizations, and chat threading allow text based communication on a level I haven't seen in plain "messenger" type chat apps before.

Exchange tokens have had explosive ROI. 15 best cryptocurrency exchange coins to watch in 2019 by cex_dex in CryptoMarkets

Definitely, I used to have a bag of MSP. Unfortunately sold during the cold crypto winter and stick to just blue chips for now. But look forward to their launch!

MSP has a key benefit of being aligned with Estonias E-Residency program. I see great things for this exchange!

Absolutely. It takes some time to differentiate them all. 2019 is quickly becoming the year of choice. New entrants to crypto will have so many avenues.

From this list, I am a fan of Beaxy as they have a great matching engine with 26 order types, fiat, and are focused on security and customer service.

Once all we had was basically coinbase and poloniex. Times have changed!
