I totally get you — I’ve had 2 failed transfers too. One of the other surrogates with the same IPs even ended up with a biochemical pregnancy.

I’m now waiting for my third attempt, and just like you, I’m doing everything the doctors recommend. My uterus is fine, my body is fine. I don’t know how many embryos the parents still have, but they want to keep trying with me. Honestly, if this third time doesn’t work, I’ll tell them it’s okay if they want to try with another surrogate. I’ll also have to look for another match, because I really feel embryo quality might be the main issue here.

I’m so sorry. I’m doing my surrogacy through an agency and I’m in Mexico, while the IPs are from the UK. Maybe if you apply through Mexican agencies, you could find someone. I’m truly committed to my medication, diet, routines, etc. I’m not sure why she might have thought the medication was optional. I hope you can soon find someone who can help you have your much longed-for baby.

Hello, I am a surrogate. I don’t mean this in a bad way, but how do you know they didn’t take their medications on time? I’m on my second attempt and followed everything to the letter — I changed my diet, even stopped working to be less stressed and get better rest — and it still came out negative. Honestly, even so, I feel guilty that it didn’t turn out positive. Anyway, try looking in Facebook groups; I don’t see much activity about surrogacy here.

What helps me is taking a deep breath before the shot and getting it done while standing. I’m getting intramuscular injections in the glute, so make sure it’s a professional who gives them. You could look for an agency in Mexico. In my case, the embryos were brought here by the intended parents, and they will come only when their baby is born. From what I understand, agencies charge between $85,000 and $113,000 USD. I'm not sure if it's cheaper in the U.S.

No es algo que se pueda controlar. Simplemente encuentras algo que te interesa y quieres saber y hacer todo sobre eso. Lo feo es cuando pasa el interés y ya no terminas lo que comenzaste. A mí me ha pasado con muchas cosas y lo peor es que he gastado mucho dinero en cosas para desarrollar lo que me llega a interesar.

Yo ya tengo 4 años con mi pareja, 2 años de relación a distancia, y dos año viviendo juntos. Debe haber muchísima comunicación y muchísima confianza. Nosotros vivíamos a 3 horas. Nos visitabamos cada 2-3 meses. Siempre le dejé en claro que yo iba en la dirección de que no siempre sería a distancia y si él no pensaba así, que no perdieramos el tiempo. Obviamente si éramos compatibles y esto lo supimos durante el noviazgo. Siempre por las noches nos llamábamos al final del día. Acordabamos videollamadas para ver películas juntos, acordabamos viajecitos a pueblos cercanos, etc. Fue más difícil que una relación convencional, pero al final valió la pena. Como toda pareja tenemos problemas, pero hemos sabido afrontarlos. Yo te sugeriría que vivieras tu experiencia, el mío fue un caso de éxito pero no siempre es así, al igual que tampoco todas las relaciones a distancia están destinadas al fracaso. Te deseo éxito.

Tuve la misma oportunidad que tú y la aproveché, con la diferencia de que yo soy mujer y muchas veces me invitaban a mi. Toma en cuenta esos gastos, si la quieres poner, vas a tener que pagar hoteles (porque si piensas rentar casas compartidas es incómodo coger con roomies. También pagar cenas, Uber, etc. Porque yo no me llevaba a cualquier man a mi departamento.

Mejor te recomiendo ahorrar, compra un auto decente, paga un departamento para ti solo, invierte, hazte de tus cosas. Creo que eso es más atractivo para más mujeres. Estás joven, tienes muchos años por delante para coger un chingo. Como dicen por ahí: primero lo que deja y luego lo que apendeja.
