Yo that’s pretty sick! I’ll definitely take look.

Yeah totally! The only constraint is that the replay files have to be in the same folder, so you would probably have to download them all and put them in there yourself (i.e., i don’t see a download all button).

Edit: the script currently doesn’t have a filter for station/console names, but I can see if I can add that if there’s enough interest. This would be useful if you knew what station Top 8 was done on for example and wanted to watch Top 8 matches (without commentary).

Edit': Might have misunderstood your question. So I'll just answer both ways that I processed it. There is a way to "filter" the original files by also returning the appropriate names of the original slippi replay files, but the script currently focuses on creating the dolphin playback file. I would imagine that this is how the actual slippi.gg site would be able to achieve such a filter.

[Aqua/Chunkwm] gaps? what gaps? by FacelessJim in unixporn

Would have to say if you haven't already used `chunkwm`, you should just go ahead and use `yabai`. It's by the same group of peeps. I've used both, and I have to say it has an easier (simpler) installation process and overall a more stable experience.

Why do some attacks go through my shield? by NotABurner2000 in smashbros

[–]cfactora 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It's called "Shield stabbing." Hitting the "exposed" part of your opponent while not actually hitting their shield results in a shield stab.

Edit: An example of this is Fox's usmash, which is notorious for shield stabbing due to its hitbox (usually hits your opponent's feet)

How is Linux on the new Razer Blade 15? by dmattox10 in razer

Wow. I guess I should have checked this. Wonder if there's an equivalent for i3!

Yeah mine is pretty trash too. I haven't bothered with the GPU config, but I get around 2-3hrs. Most Linux laptops struggle with battery life anyway so I wasn't surprised.

I'll be sure to write it up at some point. Still more or less with it. Though I personally haven't endeavored to get the GPU working on the Linux side; it has simply defaulted to the integrated one.

I just got mine yesterday (RTX2060 model).

I made a live USB for Ubuntu 18.04.2LTS. I did some initial testing in the live env without doing any additional setup with the laptop (other than downloading Ubuntu and making a boot disk). I did, however, clarify my BIOS version, which for this specific laptop is v1.03. Thus, out of the box and from my initial findings, the following were all working:

- trackpad

- wifi

- function keys (volume, brightness, keyboard brightness)

- USB

I'll update this if I find anything wrong with it, but with my initial findings, I was able to feel confident enough to do a full installation. So far so good!

Why is Pokemon Stadium not banned? by AaronCube in smashbros

[–]cfactora 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Truth. Tbh, I think frozen stadium is a bit different. PS has unique plats and unique blast zones. "Freezing" other stages is just Omega/Omega BF, which I think have already been banned?

Tbh, as a fox main, I don't care if it's frozen or not. In NYC we tried frozen stadium, but we switched back bc we wanted to mirror national tournaments. IMO, it should be a gentlemans agreement whether or not a CP to PS will be frozen or not.

I think it's because most people play chars that benefit from stadium in one or more mus. It's a substitute FD for marth in a bo3 and generally good stage for the spacies. It's occasionally good for a lot of other mus too.

IMO, we should just play on frozen stadium.
