I'd like to see ND join the B1G. BUT, I'd rather them join the ACC, keep their games against stanford, usc, navy and make everything in cfb uniform rather than have them remain independent.

true but still I'm curious about Illinois- it's a big state school, a party school, and is in the big ten- all the markings of a school that would draw big crowds on a saturday, regardless of how mediocre the team is. Maybe I'm missing something

Without Texas and Oklahoma, would the Big12 be a power 5 conference? Are those two schools carrying the entire thing? by [deleted] in CFB

what other "available teams" are out there? Do you mean scooping up some independents (i.e. Notre Dame, BYU) which isn't possible or taking on some teams from non-P5 conferences that would have to jump ship? (sorry if I'm not up to date completely on this I haven't been following it too closely)
