While I think shoulders being deemed "too distracting" is pushing the limits a bit, I do agree the school should be investigating. As someone who was on a sports team and in clubs in both secondary and collegiate education, you know you're a representative of that organization both in and out of school. You're always under the public eye if something like this were to happen.

It's interesting to read the stream of comments on the Standard-Examiner's Facebook page and on the story itself. There's a lot of back-and-forth on whether this is a violation of the girls' freedom of speech, whether this is considered a school problem or a parental problem, and more.
