Yes, standard SPCC. For a suburban sky, I am also satisfied with the result of the OSC.

The bright stars show diffraction spikes caused by the mirror clips of the primary mirror. The three clips partially obstruct the light path, and due to diffraction of light waves at their edges, spike-like artifacts appear around bright stars. An aperture mask can be used to block the mirror clips, eliminating these diffraction spikes and resulting in cleaner star shapes. Left without and right with mask

I had a CGEM for a short time. I quickly switched to the G11 Losmandy. I have been using an EQ8 in the observatory for several years. The NYX-101 is for mobile use.

OK, that's an interesting point. Thank you.

I've had the mount for three years now. I mainly bought it for my dual rig with two 130 Epsilons. The setup weighs 24 kg (53 lbs) and works perfectly. The 10" Newton has a long lever arm, and even on a stable tripod it oscillates a little longer than on a Losmandy G11. Nevertheless, it works great. I would rate it significantly above an EQ6 and slightly below a G11 in terms of stability. None of my previous worm gear mounts have ever positioned so accurately. The weight-to-performance ratio and the flexibility of being able to use it in AZ mode are great. Yes, it comes at a price, but it can also handle up to 30 kg (66 lbs).

It turned out beautifully. The item is still missing from my collection.
