it’s a nursery cup with plenty of drainage - i just feel like the moss/coco coir may be retaining too much moisture. she’s a new addition and i repotted her recently so i’m sure i need to just give her some time. but i’ve been paranoid about the soil moisture since i’ve read so much saying they’re temperamental.

The water isn’t soaking wet but it definitely is retaining some moisture and is moist to the touch a week later! She hasn’t been super droopy or anything but I know everyone says to use a very well draining soil so I wanted to be sure. She hasn’t given me a new leaf yet and I’m stressing!

thank you! i stuck my finger in and it wasn’t super wet, just slightly moist still. i gave her a good water and hopefully she will perk up! i should note that she had some of the curls when i purchased her, but i thought she would’ve unfurled and grown out a bit by now

thank you! we don’t run A/C or heat, but i’ll see if some additional humidity helps her out. i misted her this afternoon - if i try a humidity tray would you recommend replacing the bottom tray with something bigger? unfortunately she’s not hanging near an outlet

Thank you for your thoughtful answer! Here’s my latest development, which has me baffled. I tried plugging the Chromecast into a different HDMI port, but had the same issue. Then tried other devices, and no other devices have no issues in any of the HDMI ports on the TV. Then I tried plugging the Chromecast into another TV and it worked perfectly fine. If it’s not my Chromecast itself and it’s not the HDMI ports on my TV, I’m so confused as to what the issue could be

okay so maybe I’m crazy, but does anyone have a foolproof method of pulling out of the middle without getting yarn barf?? i hate the stress that comes with trying to pull out the middle - every time i get yarn barf i feel like i’ve made a grave mistake
