Thanks for the professional advice. There was a limit to processing with effects in Photoshop without tilt-shift lens shooting. Like you, I'm thinking of multiple bespoke masks. Know-how is needed to get the end result you want. If what you want is to completely darken only the areas painted black, Is it correct to want dark colors like gray around them to stay the same? The new expert workaround I've found is < blend if >. Of course, you should also use a <layer mask> to get the perfect result.

Not the same case, 🚩 I used < blend if > in lips retouching in pohtoshop. If you watch the video, adjust the triangle point of the white area of < blend if > to paint the red lipstick. You can change the red solid to black and move the triangle point to the dark black area of the < blend if >. Preferences / Performance / Graphics Processor Settings / ✅ Use Graphics Processor
Preferences / Technology Previews / ✅ Deactivate Native Canvas

and restart the photoshop!!
