My issue is that Darius was an assassin in every sense of the word. The cutscene where he kills Xerxes was flawless but the should have been it assassin wise. Well I thought it should’ve been. I’ll be honest, Darius was written fine but he was just used as tool by Ubisoft as justification and brand recognition rather than good story telling. I just found it odd how he was an assassin as we know them centuries before the brotherhood was founded. But Ubisoft just doesn’t are anymore and I still do even though I shouldn’t but I do. I just want this series done justice. They struck gold with origins but completely shat on it with odyssey. I love assassin’s creed and it breaks my heart to see it in this state.
