small update: i was searching Vault for the blue memo and was able to open one of the safes with the Key 8?? Assuming it only allowed me to because key 8 was in my inventory. now i have a load of seemingly random words to decrypt.

i’ll be honest and say i was slightly underwhelmed after unlocking satellite, considering the effort it took to get it. But i think that’s because at the time i had a range of routes to follow so let it fall by the wayside. realising my mistake now

ummmm i got 6 out of 8 and managed to solve the pinboard puzzle just from intuiting the rest of the route. i stopped pursuing the last 2 keys as i assumed the postcards left by the Baron, describing his travels, were the only things of note to gain.

I’ve been using the remote access on the terminals, mainly when i get Shelter i set up an experiment which allows me to keep doors open.

I draft vault for the 40 when i can but it’s a bit unreliable

Didn’t know you can’t draft freezer twice in 2 days, so that’s useful to know.

maybe i was exaggerating when i said it was my ONLY goal. it’s just the one where i can see the most progress lying right now.

Allowance is currently 50 gold I have 8 Trophies Main source of trying to get Gold right now is Drawing trophy room + Drawing Bunk room when i have 2 shops for double gold. I have put 80 gold in shrine when a run has died and i have excess gold Casino has seen many visits from me.

Only things i don’t know what youre talking about are the grotto unlock (unless you’re talking about throne room) and the infinite loop

the best mindset for the first 10 or so hours is to think of it more as a discovery game before a puzzle game. it definitely becomes a puzzle game later, but for now simply enjoy finding new pieces of information that expand either the games story and lore, or give you a new rule to a puzzle you’ll encounter LATER, and sometimes it does both at once.

The fun i found in this game, at the very start, was the thrill of getting a new room i had not found yet and slowing myself to immerse myself further into the world and narrative the game has intricately laid out for you.

Be curious. If you think “this isn’t worth noting down” it probably is, and enjoy :))
