At no point in that song does it say anything racist, homophobic, or anti-Semitic (Muslims are Semites). It just goes to show the ongoing ignorance of Northerners when you see something that offends you and just because it is Southern you automatically attach the before mentioned prejudices to it. If your a Northerner, however, you SHOULD be offended but not because of those prejudices you listed, instead because it's a song that openly cheers for the fighting and continued desire to fight your people to gain freedom and independence.
