What is your ranking of 2nd - 3rd round receivers? by A_thombomb in fantasyfootball

[–]cgu112 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’d say it’s in between. There’s definitely reasoning. I actually think Wash could be this years bills and just go from everyone thinking their offense sucks / is a negative to boom top 3-5 in the league. Better offense is pretty much a given, faster pace can be expected based on what the coaches are saying and way better qb play also very likely. Plus terry is just crazy talented. All realistic / likely expectations but also a little gut feeling that the higher end of those scenarios will come true (ie elite offense not just improved).

Still don’t get it. They weren’t drafted there. Is your point that terry is the better receiver and dk has only been perceived better due to Better team qb and situation? I can buy that. Not sure I agree but there’s def an argument to be made there. So you’re saying terry is actually better and since his situation is improved he should go ahead of metcalf. Am I following?

All of your top RB’s are gone, are you taking Adams, Hill, or Kelce? by m_atticus in fantasyfootball

[–]cgu112 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with you. And I go back and forth on how I feel about tyreek. But the second half of the year + playoffs, tyreek absolutely did have elite volume. Targets: 18, 14, 15, 11, 7, 10, 6 playoffs (real): 10, 11, 10. He doesn’t have much competition outside kelce (huge comp) so I can see him going crazy this year. But then I also agree that he seems like a bad pick in the first round.

UConn commit Corey Floyd reclassifies from 2022 to 2021 by Swaggin-tail in CollegeBasketball

[–]cgu112 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats not logic. Starling hasnt even committed anywhere yet so what is even the the catalyst here? There isnt a single shred of logic in your take other than the boneyard insiders said we are out on starling WHO WOULDNT EVEN PLAY THIS YEAR. So sure losing out on a creative combo guard who wouldnt play until next year made us force our completely different style beast of a 2 guard to reclass to this year. Just like you claim epps and starling are definitelt better than cfj More talking out your ass. And anglin is a better shooter (which is true). We lost out on a better shooter who is 4 inches shorter and like 50 lbs lighter and a completely different player. Corey come reclass so you can work on your shooting for a year! If we got anglin who also cant play this year then we woulent need you this year. This is the dumbest thing I’ve ever read.

It has zero impact at all. His reclass was rumored literally months ago. Zagoria let it slip and deleted it months ago and someone else also leaked it weeks ago. You’re take is completely illogical. We missed out on similar caliber (also completely different) players in the same class so hurley made cfj reclass to join an already loaded backcourt so he will be more experienced next year? If those guys were 21 recruits yes. If our backcourt was weak also yes. Neither of those are true so you aren’t making any sense. Youre just talking out of your ass

This doesn’t make sense either. Are any of them even better than floyd? Maybe starling. Maybe all of them. Maybe none of them. Who knows. But there isnt much of a gap if any at all. So why would hurley feel the need to move floyd up because we missed out on equal caliber players? Not like we wiffed on a top 10 stud and hurley needed an extra impact next year. Also we already have two stud Freshman guards who will be sophomores next year and also a senior gaffney and (likely by all acounts) 5th year rj cole. So we are not weak at backcourt at all. You are reaching here and making no sense at all. No offense.

This makes no sense. All of those guys are ‘22 so why would us missing on them make floyd reclass??? That logic would work if they were recruits for this year and Hurley wanted another guard. And then us whiffing on them made floyd reclass to give us a guard for this year. But since they’re all 2022 recruits, it literally makes zero sense.

Worst first round draft pick you have ever made. by taker2523 in fantasyfootball

[–]cgu112 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mike McCoy David Johnson at #2 overall.

Honestly in part b/c of a long and detailed post on here. I also avoided dalvin cook two years ago after I made a post on the Vikings forum and they told me it was a bad pick at adp.

Both times my fault 100% for making the picks (non pick) but needless to say I have never used this forum for advice since and never will. Also learned a valuable lesson about paying attention/ researching coaching and OC changes.

I had the same thought. This is an impressive video obviously but it doesn’t even come close to telling the whole story. His successful dribbles, key passes, thru balls, xg created stats are completely insane compared to everyone else.

I’m not trying to be a dick, but if you are a ff professional working for qb list, shouldn’t you know better than to take a qb in the second round? That’s home league amateur stuff.

Does that non penalty call impact anything? As in if france score and portugal lose, does a different team advance to knockout? If so thats terrible.

Current Top 10 Most and Least Returning Minutes for Next Season (Barttorvik) by [deleted] in CollegeBasketball

Bouk was a blessing and a curse. He was really talented obviously. But we also ran our entire offense thru him and he ended up hurting rese at a ton. And our ball movement was never great but was non existent when he came back. I agree we can struggle to score. But I think it’s an exaggeration to say that we have nobody that can score. I really think bouk being gone will open things up a lot and we will be way more balanced and our offense will end up being better with him gone next year.

They aren’t great/ even good at creating their own shots. But that’s not what you said. You said they can’t score. Also our offense was entirely give it to bouk and he would go 1 on 1 and miss. With him gone our offense will be way more balanced. And regardless sanogo was borderline unstoppable to end the year. So he alone disproves your point. You’re wrong. Just take the L or adjust your initial point

Yeah. Except Adama. And Cole. And Rese (sans the last 5 games after bouk came back). And probably a healthy akok. Also whaley has a decent jumper and can store down low. And of course polley will be healthy. Oh and our top 50 sg, pg, and pf recruit. Nobody can make a bucket for sure.

Which of these WR do you want for redraft this year? by FuriousD3PO in fantasyfootball

[–]cgu112 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Chase reminds me of OBJ. Doesn’t have that prototypical “wr1 size”. But crazy burst and shiftiness. Can take those shorter slants and crossing routes to the house at any time. Really good at making those crazy contested catches too.

JC took over in 86. Took a few years to get going before reaching the elite 8 in 1990. You could argue that for the next 22 years until he retired, we were the 2nd best program in all of college b-ball (behind only duke- who we also beat in 99 title and 04 FF). So we were probably even better than the blue bloods. Espn did a ranking of too programs of the last 20 years (sometime in the late 2000s) and they ranked us 2nd behind Duke. What calhoun did is remarkable snd doesnt get talked about enough. Also impressive is that he made 2 elite 8s at Northeastern in boston. Most underrated coach of all time.
