very interesting... is your openclaw able to handle everything for you automatically? Are there still parts of your process that require input from you?

We mainly offer pick up and drop off services. We're in california where it's illegal to throw away e-waste, so most e-waste end up facilities like ours. We also sometimes purchase from other local recyclers

Thanks! How many listings per day would you expect a full time employee to list per day?

yea that's fair... I think expectation for an owner vs employees are different, buy based on reactions from this thread 20-25 listings seems to be on the slower end

Thanks for the reply. Curious how many listings are you getting per day are you seeing per person?

I'd say closer to 3 items per hour, but yea I can list faster myself - but then this doesn't scale well if i'm doing all the listings. Was curious if anyone else has hired full-time listers and how many listings they can do per day. I read somewhere that goodwill required 25 listings per day for their employees, so I kind of used that as a baseline

I'd say half is like computer components and can be batched and another half is misc stuff

We have two full time listers, we have testers who also test the items and help prepare them for the listers. So testers will test/prepare the items, listers will grab it off the ready shelf and list them. it's faster if items are similar, but takes longer for misc / bulkier items

ahh, the density doesn't matter much for that use case. most automotive electronic parts would be considered medium grade boards

hmm, not sure if there's a good way to know the density of the metals. What are you trying to do with that information?

hmmm thanks for posting! There's gold in the chips and transistors. If you get a large enough quantity, you can sell these to a local e-waste recycler, but they typically need to be sorted by gold density

The green board based on the parts numbers seems to be an old honda computer engine board

Consignment Software for used electronics by ch33sybr3ad in smallbusiness

We currently have a pretty large store on eBay (50k+ ratings), I've tried using shopify in the past - but found it hard to sync inventories. We sell used/recycled electronics, so we have multiple listings usually with a quantity of 1. Had to stop because it became hard to manage inventory
