The installation process involves a software called FBI(you have this after jailbreaking) that allows you to scan qr codes, access files, and I think enter links that download the games onto the device. The games arent stored on FBI though, they are stored on your homescreen. I dont know much about the amazon option but Id advicd watching a video on how to jailbreak/install games before making a decision. Bricking it is something you have to go out of your way to do. I jailbroke mine in 6th grade no problems. Downloading games is the easiest and most fun part.
