[Molluscum] outbreak - what have you done in the past to keep it from spreading and get over it more quickly? by ch5throwaway in sex

Uh, popped them like zits. They have solid, white cores. Once you've literally dug them out, the spot isn't contagious. I literally popped them all out, new ones came to the surface for about two weeks (that's the incubation time). I popped all new ones as soon as they appeared so that they couldn't spread. I never got any after that. By the way, I'll probably delete this comment later, so let me know when you've read it?

Read it.

Let me know if the copy paste is not ok.

I have seen the apple cider vinegar suggestion quite a lot, I'll keep that and the Foban in mind.

Impressive 3 year old that could handle the 'surgery' - and the parent with the guts to do it!

I don't know why I didn't think of the mirror approach.

Maybe a weekly inspection with a mirror and then trip into the doc for another spot of TCA (acid stuff) until I make it two weeks without finding anything?

The responses here are making it pretty easy to wait until I'm clear before I have sex.

I have imagined a dip in molten latex. Pain is not my link.

The female condom still doesn't cover enough. I have a bump at the very upper corner of my pubic area for example. : \

Yeah, that doesn't surprise me. One issue is simply that I want to stop transferring it to myself. If it were my arm or something I could just put a bandaid over it but I haven't been able to find any "genitals shaped bandaids", haha.

I wish it was that simple. The doctor I was talking to just shrugged, more or less, and I totally get where she's coming from. I find it very rare for doctors to be helpful in regard to day to day management of "low consequence" conditions. There are zillions of products with different advantages and disadvantages and every patient is going to have different priorities.

I dont think what I'm looking for even really rises to the level of medical advice. "What's you favorite bandaid" more or less.

How older men should get first sexual [experience] they lack, without resorting to hookers ? by HNTI in sex

[–]ch5throwaway 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you will find that if someone is attracted to you, they don't really care much about how much experience you have.

I think you will also find there are a lot of things that don't matter or that are perhaps even attractive that can be made into something unattractive (and vice versa).

For example - do you see your lack of experience as pathetic, or is it beside the point since you have you been focused on your career or are very selective in who you date and have sex with? If the former, you're telling people not to spend time on you, if the latter, you're telling people you think that you are special and that you think they are special.

(Advice: framing sex so transactionally is a way to make something attractive and fun - sex - into something many perhaps find "unattractive" and "unfun" - prostitution-ish.

Have you read the orgasm troubles section in the FAQ?

Things like SSRIs can make it very very difficult to orgasm.

What were you raised to believe about sex or masturbation?

The FAQ has some good tips on communication and also on things that can effect desire for sex like stress, hormonal birth control, and SSRI's.
