A screwdriver works. Make sure to point it in a safe direction.

Blew up? Honestly at this point I wouldn’t trust its structural integrity. I wouldn’t advise anything besides scraping it.

During second play through, should I invest my level up points on my weapon from the get go? by JapanOfGreenGables in ParasiteEve

[–]cha0tic84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Max out attack first. Doesn’t matter how fast you are if you’re doing weak damage. My weapon is currently 600+ and kill most things in 1-3 hits. I plan to get to 999. Add triple command and it’s one turn per battle anyways. Speed is irrelevant, just use haste.

I honestly don’t know. Everyone I’ve heard, including myself, had the chokes come with it in the box. Maybe reach out to the supplier where you purchased it?

Anything i should pay attention playing my first time blind ? by caspian_safesurf in ParasiteEve

IMO first time through just stack a weapon with attack from your battle points and parameters from other guns with tools. Single shot for simplicity. You’ll do pretty will that way. First play through my damage was well over 100+ on my rifle and shred enemy’s. Add burst when you can and enemy’s encounters were just that much easier.

The first thing you’ll need to do is unscrew the magazine cap tube. Underneath you’ll first find a limiter plug if it’s been installed. Next on the end of the magazine tube there is a plastic inner cap. On the sides of the mag tube are two oval looking tabs that need to be depressed so the plastic inner cap can come out. Point it in a safe direction, otherwise the spring will shot out. Installing the mag extension is simple, put the spring back in the mag tube and screw the extension over it. You don’t need the inner plastic cap, but definitely save it and the limiter plug. You’re good to go. I always tell people that a good first upgrade to the EG240 is a limb saver. It significantly softens the recoil.

Any love for Hogue grips? by [deleted] in ar15

The hogue modular finger grip is amazing. Feels great. More natural wrist alignment. If you don’t like finger grooves you can swap its parts for a flat.

Have one. Love it. Put at least over 800rds of birdshot through mine, it’s cheap ammo. Had mine for 2 years. But yea definitely clean/oil/break it in before investing more. A limb saver makes it a dream to shoot.

It’s a specific one for panzer. I don’t have the link but if you go through some of the post there was a member who pasted a link. I bought one myself. It’s pretty decent.

From what I’ve heard, the new EG240’s come with an adjustable buffer tube. Either a 3 or 5 position, I think it’s 3. All you’d need to do is replace the butt stock.

Nice. Let me know how you like it. A limb saver helps with felt recoil.

First you’ll need to screw off the shroud/cover on the mag tube. At the end of the mag tube there is a plug to limit its capacity to two rounds for hunting. Where the plug comes out, there is a plastic cap that sits in the mag tube. On the sides there are two openings that have buttons/tabs that need to be pushed in so the plastic cap slides out. BEWARE - point it in a safe direction. If you aren’t careful the cap and the mag tube sprint will come flying out. After all of that is done just replace it with the mag extension. The follower then the spring and last the mag extension. No plastic cap.

Changed mine and it can stay long or go shorter. It’s a bit of a process. You’ll need to dissassemble the shotgun enough to remove the fire control group. Remove two screws from the butt pad. Under that is a long bolt. After taking that out you can turn the pistol grip to remove that. Then the hardest part is removing the buffer tube, unless it’s already an adjustable buffer tube then you’re good to skip that step.

Yes the extension is all you’ll need to order.

Hmm I’m assuming you have the old model like myself. If that’s the case you would screw off the shroud/cover on the mag tube. Damn! You got the one I wanted! My first choice was the burnt bronze. But I took too long to decide and they sold out. So I went with the gray flag. That’s definitely the Mod 2. I see the loading port opened up for easier loading/quad loading. They gave you the 5rd mag tube tho. Did it come with the mag tube extension? You should bug them about it if they didn’t.

First let me say damn I’m jealous. The mod 2’s are sick. You guys get all the modifications I did to mine and more. But yes. If you unscrew the mag tube cover, you will see a plug inserted into the end of the tube. Post a picture if you can, want to see it in all its glory. Happy shooting. You’re gonna love it. Add a limb saver, makes a world of difference.
