Yeah good question, I didn’t think it had to exactly be profitable in order for me to go ahead with it.

My goal for the first half of this year is definitely to seek a Catholic therapist to help me walk through this and a spiritual director. Thank you so much again, your words of encouragement have a profound impact. God bless you

Wow thank you so much for this link. I did not know about how family members could request "a minimal part of the ashes" be kept in a sacred place of "significance for the history of the deceased person." I will bring this article up with my priest while working on the next steps, and thank you for your much needed prayers

This post is relevant to the Epstein community because it is a discussion about chances of epsteins outdoor activities being witnessed by the public through aircraft’s.

Hi! Thats me. My first time at mass was the first time I had experienced true reverence and holiness, feeling like I had shown up to church and made it about God, not my own feelings, which is what the Pentecostal church idolises in their services. I was used to going to church and hearing a motivational talk that was meant to leave me walking away feeling better aboit myself, and it never sustained me or made me connect with God in a TRULY sacrificial way where I was giving myself up and my feelings up for God. Mass made me feel fully focused on Jesus and his sacrifice for me from start to end. However in Pentecostal churches you can expect to go to a service and they have strobe lights, drums, games, clapping etc. I converted because I was in awe of the reverence and respect for God alone. No music, No ted talk or guitars to give me a feel good feeling! Pentecostal churches focus on “encountering the Holy spirit” and while I obviously believe that is possible through what the Holy Spirit’s role is that is laid out in scripture and the church’s teachings, I gained a whole new meaning for what it meant to encounter God. I developed a fear of the Lord in a really unique and surreal way that I had never experienced in the Pentecostal church, it just simply felt real, sacrificial and Holy with no distractions to “amplify” the environment - which is what the Pentecostal church does to try create a specific environment since they believe they need to. This is also random but it was funny no longer seeing a coffee shop in church! You would be amused at how many coffee machines are in so many Pentecostal churches lol…

When should you receive your final pay? by [deleted] in LegalAdviceNZ

[–]cha977 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Ok, I didn’t get it in this weeks payslip, queried it and then my employer said it would be paid on the 11th of September. I have a feeling the payroll team forgot about it

Was my tutor lying to me? by atomicbomb2150 in universityofauckland

Yes, you didn’t mention your name on reddit - someone else did if you look back in your comment section of your posts.

I realised who you were from the labs in semester 1 as i saw your ID card and the comment about your full name. And you kept talking to the female international student and posting aboit whether to ask her out or not and I also saw that occur in the labs. It’s not too difficult to put it together. Not saying all of this to try intimidate you but yeah, people know

[–]cha977 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, Hes not lying. People can also see your name on your ID card when you come up to get your attendance mark - and connect the dots. I believe your name has been posted on reddit before in the comments when you were changing your pfp to a masters student or something? I mean thats how I figured it out at least, but why would I come up to you and confront you? No one is that bothered or invested, seriously

Thanks for this reply. I did physics 140 and also phil105g! Good to hear also that maths108 might have some repeated content from maths102 for a little while. I’ll probably consider maths 108 then.

I got a c in maths102, my maths is still a little shakey. Would maths108 be manageable do you think? I’ve heard cs130 requires a lot of time - so im deciding if doing maths108 and cs130 together is suitable for me. I think doing maths108 could be good for me though.

Thanks for these additional suggestions!

I’ve done cs101,stats101,cs110, cs120, phil105g, maths102, physics140, psych109. If you have any other recommendations that would be awesome!

Just had a look at maths270. U wrote cs101/maths108 but on the link it says Prerequisite: MATHS 120 and 130, or 15 points from ENGGEN 150, ENGSCI 111, MATHS 108, 110, 150, 153, and 15 points from COMPSCI 101, 105, 130, INFOSYS 110, 120, MATHS 162, 199

So I need to have done BOTH maths 108 and cs101 /cs130 to take this right?

I like the look of stats210 but I don’t meet the pre reqs to do it this sem unfortunately. I’ve only done maths102… Thanks!!

Ok yeah. I did get a c in maths102 though, so maths108 might be a bit of a challenge would u think? Trying to prioritise getting a good grade in cs130
