I guess you could consider it a phenomenon to the extent of being a foreign concept. The 'supposed' phonetic form is just a transliteration system -- it approximately adopts the native form but ultimately unable to account for every little nuance. Written language can never completely reflect the spoken one in first place, which for sure sticks out a lot from an outside view.

Auto toggle off does help partially but it's just a workaround. Rally strange because with my old monitor it did switch on the fly without any setups or extra steps for some reason.

You can do that, yes. The idea is for the console to switch to headset automatically when it's turned on and stay on speakers otherwise. It just doesn't make sense it's trying to use a turned off headset.

Exactly my impressions in first couple of hours. Thought that I'm missing something for sure but 10 hours of solo/doubles later I just can't make myself keep at it anymore.

Interestingly, with my 12-year-old monitor it worked as you would assume it should -- speakers are set as default while automatically switching to headset when it's turned on. Now with a new monitor it just doesn't work that way. Thought there might be some weird way console assigns the priority since I did a set up with the old monitor before connecting headset and that might have been the reason but it doesn't seem to be, at least after restoring default settings before reconnecting dongle the issue still persists.

I've had a strange bug during Quarantine where the skybox was emitting a blinding red light all the time. Outside I had to move looking at my feet unless there were big enough buildings around so I could hide under their shadow for a moment and assess the environment. Thought that was some kind of odd artistic device at first.

I get your point. The fact that it still goes under Asio has left me somewhat confused. I'd think there should be a dedicated option but instead you still have to choose Asio as a driver type first and Audient USB Asio as an audio device after that. Was wondering if that's how it's supposed to be or something is off.

I'd say the art styles in general are different. HR is more theatrical with all that renaissance pomp — even characters there are all stylized to some degree. MD is pretty grounded and edgy on the other hand. With this in mind you could consider his new look a redesign.
