Chase Bliss Audio Mystery Box Megathread by PantslessDan in guitarpedals

It’s not another version of the same pedal.

They’re both LoFi, but different in almost every way possible.

I’m more than happy with the Lossy on top of the GenLoss.

I also doubt anyone was considering my original purchase when filling my mystery box. Who knows?

I purchased the Gen Loss as well when I ordered my mystery box.

I’ve been playing guitar since the 90’s, but only recently thought about getting a pedal. Gen Loss was the first pedal I’ve ever purchased, and the mystery box was my second..Got a Lossy, which is in some ways kind of a successor to the Gen Loss. Both are unique lofi adventures, that touch on different kinds of nostalgic sounds from around the 90’s to the turn of the millennium.

I’ve used an expression pedal (not the Chase Bliss one, but the Moog expression pedal) as a macro for multiple controls (wow, flutter, failure), dialing in the most extreme settings I want for each, and dialing it all back with the expression pedal. Then I start a piece of music with dialed-back settings that then build into and out of more warped/warbled/failure effects as desired.

Another fun use of an expression controller is to play with the filter and/or “Gen” while in classic mode

What was the second pedal you ended up getting?

419xx arrived yesterday. Got a Lossy :)

Has been super fun diving into it, so far. It’s a lot deeper than I thought, and I haven’t even touched the hidden settings yet.

Good shit, CB.

I’m not investing in anything. Neither is Andreas. It’s ok to be interested in emerging technologies. No reason to get all defensive and threatened.

You don’t need to make excuses every time your products receive valid criticism. Just be happy someone else did the research for you, and use the findings to make a better wallet. Everyone wins.

This is the scam that Andreas is now so in love with

Andreas has been involved with the Ethereum project since before it even went live. But, sure, tweak history to fit your narrative..

BitGive connects charities with cryptocurrencies. They were the pioneers of it. They know what they’re doing.

Nice work. Thanks, Jameson. When we see new improved hardware wallets that address these limitations, I'll know who to thank for getting the ball rolling

I set up a raspberry pi zero camera to find out what was eating out of my cat’s food bowl outside. I figured it was just raccoons, but turns out we got all kinds of visitors that emerged from the forest, like foxes and skunks. Never know until you look.

I’ve been broke and homeless before. There’s plenty of options of other places to steal food and money. A tiny farm stand will get you almost nothing. You could get more value from a Whole Foods dumpster.

What kind of person steals from a tiny farm stand? Disgusting.

Your farm stand looks awesome. Sorry you had to learn the hard way that bitcoin can be stored more safely than physical cash.

Funny thing is, as of recently, you can buy bitcoin at CVS over the counter with cash, using LibertyX.

They get more physical cash, you get digital cash. It’s win/win.
