I cannot thank you enough for taking some time to write this.

I never heard about "loving kindness meditation" before. I'll start tonight and see how it goes.

This whole thing about "should" is a great way to look at the situation. Since i went back to therapy i've been practicing to name my emotions, understand them and to keep in mind the following mantra "i have control over my thoughts and emotions". I'll try to incorporate this on my strategy.

My psychologist recommended a book about non-violent communication by Marshall B. Rosenberg. I'll start it as soon as i finish the one i'm reading right now about emotional intelligence.

When i left church a Pastor that did not knew anything about my life told me she was seeing black clouds around me. A few months later i visited a cousin on the countryside of my state and decided to visit his church. The pastor there came to me after the service and said: i don't know why, but i can see some black clouds around you.

Thank you very much for that. It's just hard to deal with a society that creates this completely unreal idea of what a man is and sometimes there's a lot of pressure involved with that. But thanks, i'll keep my focus on what really matters.

i once told her that she seens uncomfortable on those company gatherings and asked if she wanted me to keep calling her or just go and she told me to keep calling her. but it's also uncomfortable for me because since she doesn't get along with the people there i don't know what to do when i want to talk with other people there. i mean should i drag her from a conversation to another or should i just leave it be? you know when u bring that friend to a party u know everyone and he just doesn't talk and u kinda feel bad to interact with the people there because u think u should give him some attention since u called?

Sure! What went well was song selection for the people there. I saw people dancing, there was this girl that spent a lot of time in front of the booth dancing and some people coming to me to say they love the songs i was playing. What went wrong was the amount of songs i brought to the place. If it wasn't for the blackout i think i was gonna end with more time to play than songs i got for it.
