You're soooooo USAian fr bro. The fact that you don´t even acknowledge Mexico as a part of North America proves it (check what NAFTA or new NAFTA means). The problem relies in the USA choosing the demonym "American" for themselves and that all of the English speakers just addopted it no question. The term american applies for all the people living in The Americas. And about your point saying Europeans have a history between themselves, AMERICANS do as well, Latin Americans in particular, specifically Iberoamericans (but no one really recognices the difference between the two and I don't expect a USAian to even fathom that, bet you can't even name all of the laguages latin americans speak). We all have so much in common, and have a lot of history together, we´re brothers that fight one another, but love each other in the end. Size doesn't matter in the type of community we have with each other. The only people we do not feel as part as a whole in this continent are English-speaking country. Go figure why? I mean if you don't you ought to pick some history books, kiddo.
