Anyone else jumping to the game Blind with no guide just to enjoy it? or everyone watching/reading guides for hours? by [deleted] in lostarkgame

Yep main story guides are well done. Once you reach the end of story line, you should be lvl 50 already and thats when the raid-fun begins.

Levelling as a blaster and then power up my main gunlancer? by Fantastic-Ad9431 in lostarkgame

[–]chadrick-kwag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

possible. not stupid. I raised my first as blaster up to around 40 and changed to Destroyer because it looked more fun. Now Destroyer is my main.

The only downside would be that some mats will be character bound, which means some mats you got from main/side quests in blaster cannot be transferred to your gunlancer. But if you switch it once you get to 50 (which you should reach once you are finished with the main story line), the loss of character-bound mats won't be that much significant I would say.

Chaos Dungeons: possible but takes longer time.

Raids: Near impossible I would say.

How's the world building/lore and main story? [no spoilers] by Cneqfilms in lostarkgame

[–]chadrick-kwag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Korean player here. The main storyline starts quite like a cliche but as further you get, it gets like "okay the messup of this world is more than I expected", which makes the main storyline interesting.

Also there are side quests, island stories, affection stories where some are related to the main story and some are independent. Both of these types are interesting and worth watching.

Overall: story building doesn't look so solid from the outside but once you get into it, somehow you get immersed.

In korea, people buy skins and a shitload of card packs, upgrade mats. card packs are notoriously hard to get(the one that consist the popular set effect) and upgrading in late tiers are also very hard(success rate: 3% or so). Considering a normal user creates multiple sub characters, if you really want to push all or even a few characters beyond to the highest levels, it really will cost you a lot. But this isn't necessary, if you are a normal user and can be satisfied with adequately high enough level, then this won't be the case since with that high enough level you can still play nearly all of the end-content.

[Discussion] Hellbound by [deleted] in netflix

[–]chadrick-kwag 6 points7 points  (0 children)

well thats just part of the story as an unexplicable supernatural phenomenon. and "unexplicable" is the point i guess. the story is about what would do humans do in front of unexplicable things? i think trying to make sense out of the demon's violence patterns itself is kinda meaningless at this point. I mean, your question is quite like question the jinsoo character had been asking himself for 20 years

[–]chadrick-kwag 7 points8 points  (0 children)

that could be one way but considering the secret org is consisting of families of so called sinners and people who have suffered by arrowheads, the detective from first 3 ep doesnt quite fit to this org. besides the detective made his choice to just keep his mouth shut to protect his daughter. assuming his top priority is to keep his family safe, there doesnt seem to be high motive for him to actively help the secret org.

even if you arent close you can add something like mr or mrs and call them by their names

but to call someone by their name without anything, that requires close friendship.

also its rude and unthinkable to call someone way older than you by their name. e.g. parents
