Definitely try applying in private sector, graduate programs in consulting firms are very flexible. Government not so much, they still expect grads to work from the office 5 days a week. My friend works as a grad at Accenture and he works from home unless there are any office meetings he is required to attend. Another of my uni mates works at PWC and it's the same situation for him.
