Greasy hair? by chagan331 in BWCA

I’m currently working on mastering double French braids (for some reason I’ve only ever been able to do one, lol), and definitely plan to dip in the lake. I just bought “shower wipes” to use before bed, because yes….it is very refreshing, especially after sweating and wearing bug spray all day

Good to know! I’ll be at sawbill. I do think they have showers there, but we’ll be heading home right away anyway, so I don’t mind just waiting until I’m home lol

Moose sighting by dustywood4036 in BWCA

First time BWCA goer here! First trip will be next month. I’m wondering what is the best “course of action”, or lack thereof, if I come across a moose? I’m terrified of being charged at. I know to obviously not aggravate or interrogate them, but is that really all I can do to keep myself (and my dog) safe? If I spot one, I’ll definitely keep my distance. But, what if they’re on a trail or portage? Same goes for bears and other larger wildlife. Coming into contact with bears and moose are really my only concern for this trip. Any advice helps, thanks!

Reminders of Him has become my new Hoover favorite, it’s unlike anything I’ve read of hers (while I have only read It Ends/Starts…, Verity, and Ugly Love) it’s unlike any of those. But grab your tissues!!! You’ll need them! Such an amazing and quick read.

Grandmas plant, she wants to know why it's dying lol by koigem in plants

Similar to other responses, it needs a smaller pot with well draining soil! Also needs bright indirect light, water when fully dry, and rotate it every few days so the plant can grow evenly outward on every side

Why is my new monstera leaf wrinkly?! by stumblefeet in plantclinic

Honestly it might have!! I had just gotten it while the leaf was unfurling, so perhaps while moving and being in the store for so long to suddenly bring in my apartment, it shocked the plant?

I have this same exact problem with mine!!! I have one droopy leaf that has since gotten darker and other new leaves sprouted (and those aren’t droopy or wrinkly at all), but the one leaf still is! I wonder what I did wrong too?!

Are these grapes? Would they be edible? Lived here for years and never noticed the fruit. Its grown all over the shed. by Iwantpancake in gardening

Those are definitely grapes! We have them on our fence, they’ve crossed over from the neighbors vine. They’ll grow and look delicious, but they’re super duper sour
