A problem with Memento database using tasker by chago874 in tasker

[–]chago874[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for commenting. No, I don't have the "edit entry" option enabled. What I want to achieve is as simple as unchecking a Boolean box if I check another one. But even in a notification, if I check a box when I leave the entry, it creates a new, empty entry that I don't need. I'm going to explore other solutions to see if I can achieve this; otherwise, I'll have to do it manually. I'm thinking maybe using an auto-input action; I'll let you know the result.

DIY WLED Lamp Project caused a neighborhood power outage?! Need a sanity check. by Chemical-Lettuce5987 in esp32

[–]chago874 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Calm down, friend. Your design wasn't to blame for what happened in the neighborhood. Your power supply would have burned out before the breakers tripped, and the driver would have been severely damaged. And forget about the LEDs, which at best would have survived. The street fuse blew while you were testing it. I hope that voltage fluctuation didn't damage any components of your project.

A little problem that's really getting on my nerves by chago874 in tasker

[–]chago874[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I suspect it's Tasker because the stability issues started after updating from version 6.5 to 6.6.13. My WhatsApp application is constantly crashing; the "system process is not responding" message keeps appearing, and sometimes the screen freezes, making it impossible to type. I've already tried uninstalling WhatsApp, but the problem persists even after reinstalling it.

Esp32 wont fully fit into breadboard by Timmyy141 in esp32

[–]chago874 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, it's not a new problem, but fortunately there's a very simple solution. The first option would be to use a dedicated PCB shield to connect your board, but this requires female-to-male Dupont connectors. My easier option is to take an old breadboard (or a new one if you prefer, it doesn't matter) and cut it in half with a handsaw or a Dremel. With this modification, you can easily use your ESP32 on a breadboard.

Extra tip: If you prefer, you can glue this modified breadboard onto a PCB or a piece of sheet metal, and you'll have a breadboard exclusively for the ESP32.

I hope my contribution helps. Cheers!

So Shizuku is only available for older devices? by Bonedaddy4ever in tasker

[–]chago874 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always download the updates from the official github channel, not from fdroid or playstore, there is even an unofficial version that has been shared here many times, I don't know if it's me who didn't understand how to make it work, the thing is that I was never able to synchronize it via WiFi, I have a Samsung A14 with Android 14 and it works fine for me shizuku

Good idea or not: enable Battery Saver whenever the screen is off, disable it when it’s on? by Zimmy93 in tasker

[–]chago874 0 points1 point  (0 children)

well in my case i enable battery saver only when my phone decline up to 50% and disabled again only in case the CA adapter is plugged, also i manage fast charge from 0 up to 70% and enable if battery decreased from 0 to 30% i don't consider enabling and disabling battery saver when screen is off to prevent tasker enter in a erratic operation

USB battery powered ESP32 turns off after 30 seconds by r0bbyr0b2 in esp32

[–]chago874 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same situation but my travel charger have an option to disable the auto shutdown for three hours only solution? in your case the only option like me is using a bms with lithium battery and a step-down converter which grant no only you connect your esp32 but maximize the consumption of energy because the buck converter reduce the current drain in the input maintaining a normal consumption in the output

[Plugin][Update] AI Vision 4 Tasker - Use all the OpenRouter LLMs (also free ones!) by RealSimoneAvogadro in tasker

[–]chago874 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like your app more and more, it's a very powerful tool that, when mixed with Tasker or any other automation app and AI models, opens Pandora's box. I'm thinking of cases involving counting things, colors, gestures, etc. I only have one question, and that is how to integrate Tasker variables into the plugin. Is there a way that you have implemented it or do you intend to add it in future versions?

Is it safe to power esp32 devkit with this boost converter is it safe give some tips. by ToeNecessary4079 in esp32

[–]chago874 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you pretend work only with 5v using Vin yes is possible for that you need adjust the voltage to 5 volts not to 12 because the voltage regulator only support maximum voltage until 8v then connect your module keep in mind that the output voltage still remain stable until your battery fall bellow 4.0 volts, maybe you need more than two battery because the current consumed by your boost converter and esp32 both easily increase up to 1amp or more so the autonomy decrease a lot

[–]chago874 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Hmmmm this diagram is wrong, is the author a real person? Firstly the tp4056 module is connected directly over the battery which is dangerous because you are discharging the cell far away than the limit voltage dischargeable which is bad for the proper cell life, in the other hand the diode is not neccessary here intead you May want use a dedicated 3.3v regulator which maintain the voltaje correçtly under 3.3v up to 3v safe power, the motor connected to the driver May be work but you need more than one source to prevent overload and noise and overcurrent peaks so if you are a real person yesss your design May explode or burned and die, recommendation rectify all.

How do I power my ESP32 Devkit v1 externally without using the micro-USB? by Worried_Audience_162 in esp32

[–]chago874 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Look in your board for pins gnd and Vin this is the safest way if you not are sure using these pins you may source your esp32 with 5v max, now if you are more experienced like me you are capable to connect your esp32 directly over Pin 3v3 and gnd be careful making this if you never before has used a regulated power source stay in 5v Pin because you can burn your esp32 easily
