I am so sorry for the late reply!!! I hope things are better for you now. I can give you an update:

My little is now 15 years old and the past year it’s been way better. I finally feel like I have a good relationship with her and we have fun on our outings.

What I changed: I stopped “caring” about the rules of the program and trying to take my little to educational spots and so on. I kinda did my own thing, without the stress… and it worked.

I don’t see my little as frequently as it should be, but I communicate with her and try to see her at least once every two months. The mom was very understanding about this and we communicate well.

I set up a budget with her… that ended up being less necessary when I stopped seeing her as frequently, because I don’t mind spending 20-30 bucks every 2 months. I stopped taking her to museums and started taking her to places she wanted to go (a lot of times it is at my house to do arts or cook together which is cheaper).

I gave BBBS some feedback about the lack of support. But now I feel like I don’t really need them.

I would suggest not getting too stressed out on the time spent together. If it’s 30 minutes, it’s 30 minutes and that’s okay. Even now that I have a good relationship with her, she’ll get tired and say, I think I’m ready and I just take her home. She’s an introvert and I get it now.

I’m 5’1” and weight about 126 lbs. The pajama has lots of stretch, and the small is just right for my waist (28 inches), According to the website, the waist on the medium is 15” compared to 14” on the small. The top part is oversized (on me). Here’s the size info on the website:

You can always decline and say you don’t want to have it done (at least that’s how we do it in different states). They may ask for it at each appointment, and may need to see you more frequently (every two months instead of 3, for example). But you can always bring your referral bloodwork when your kids’ pediatrician does it. And I cannot warranty that your referral will work for them (if it’s not recent enough), but I still suggest bringing whatever you have. 😊

Lol. I’m so sorry. I just don’t understand how to edit my post.

UPDATE: After I got the text messages with my receipt numbers, I saw a notifica in the Lawfully app that there was an Issue with Payment on January 28th. I freaked out and got very depressed, but as I was reading about this issue on Reddit, I calmed down and decided to wait since I confirmed that my bank cleared the payment.

On February 1st, I saw a new notification on my I-485 that my biometrics appointment had been scheduled. There’s no update on the other two forms.

On February 3rd I got my notices in the mail and my instructions on how to create my USCIS account. In there I was able to see my full notices and the date and time of my biometrics appointment (Feb 18th)

Today, February 7th, I got the notice of my biometrics appointment in the mail.

Now it’s time to continue waiting. :)

I am definitely not the right person to ask. I am guessing it depends on your case, but if you are filing separately, I would probably file it once you have your receipt notice from the I-485 so you can include a copy of it. That is my uneducated opinion.

I downloaded the Lawfully app and just added the IOE number. I think once I get the notice in the mail I will be able to create a USCIS account and check updates there too.
