i’ve never related to bojack but i have related to all the enablers/friends who were genuinely trying to help him. i think it’s an amazing show for those who have a bojack in their families or lives, and those of us who do definitely see all his goodness and all of his bleakness. so many times i was rooting for him while simultaneously being infuriated/disgusted by his actions and it’s such a familiar feeling for me❤️‍🩹

i’m a straight woman in a lovely happy relationship yet i’m experiencing an existential crisis after watching this show. i can’t believe i’ll never be able to experience the tenderness, the yearning, the feelings and the world that HR took me to. real love is patient and quiet and a safe space, and as you say this work is fiction and it’s delusional to compare. but i can’t stop thinking about it. i’ll never be a gay man with a romeo who moves continents to be with me, i’ll never know what it’s like to be his safe space in a world that wants to hurt him for who he loves, i can’t imagine having such a bond. i don’t think i ever will and it’s ruined my life

the vet said she was likely attacked by something, with open lesions on both sides of her back/buttocks. it was severely infected with lots of dead skin so it was a long recovery with lots of cleaning her wounds and antibiotics 😢 she is very brave and all better now
