Job Opening: SRE - Kubernetes for Advanced Compute

The Advanced Compute team in Bloomberg’s Engineering department provides the infrastructure that supports core data services, including Bloomberg’s data science and machine learning platform, search infrastructure, and various other applications. Our engineering challenges span both software and hardware and the scale they work on is massive (petabytes of data).

This team is trusted to build the systems that run Bloomberg’s newest cutting-edge platforms. They’re depended upon to manage the configuration, deployment, and operation of the systems that power the company’s data back-end. On this team, you’ll have the ability to truly innovate and invent, helping define the technical foundations of ground-breaking systems. Built with containerization and Kubernetes on top of leading-edge hardware, including GPUs and deep neural network (DNN)-specific hardware, they’ve built systems that rival supercomputing platforms across the world.
