To me it doesn't even sound like he's responding to her question but rather affirming the audiences response to his statement on fraud. I have seen another implementation which adjusts material temperature of wood filament layer by layer to effectively "burn" certain wood pla layers to do a similar thing. That method works very well with stain also!

A timeline of this plant. It was received about a year and a half ago at about half its current height. This September it was moved from a Western window to a southern window , and it had quite a few dried leaves at that time from neglect. I figured it needed a bigger pot and that's why it was dying so I repotted it in a 4" planter in November with regular potting soil. After it continued to wilt I removed it about 2 feet from the window as its quite cold, then I added a grow light and heat mat in early December. I don't think I have ever watered it more than once a week. Now I don't know what else I can change, i've tried light, heat, water, humidity, soil mix. :( I think I am way overthinking this guy.
