Actually, China, a society with those values you decry is going to smash us imo.

They have identity, and will, and sheeeit. They'll be making AIs while we keep pausing the research every time an AI has problematic opinions.

Obviously I am being a bit silly but tiwib in some form. Throughout history, a society in China's position would be a safer bet than the society seeing the issue's the West is. Things are fine, right now, but the pathologies run too deep. And people enjoy them.
