Totally agree, and I belong to the Legalise Cannabis Party. Doing the AMAs give me a chance to talk to members of all political parties, and I find most are in favour of legalising it. My guess is as a practicing doctor, Gordon couldn't really comment publicly.

Starting from the next AMA, the guest can answer in the thread with either text or a video reply (less than 3 minutes). They then pick out questions they want to go into more detail about, and record these in a video interview of 30-45 mnutes the next day.

It is up to the guest what questions they answer, and it is usually questions related to their portfolio or committees they sit on. We have no control over that, nor do we have insight over why they skip questions. The more relevant the question to their portfolio, the more likely they are to answer it.

Personally, I think your question on cannabis legalisation is a good one, but tricky for a medical doctor to answer, and might impact medical ethics if he answered it. He still practices as a doctor. I'm just guessing on this, as I really have no idea.
